Was it done using watercolors? It still looks decent but that more recent pic is really beautiful. You've definitely improved a lot

This was my original concept for the cover of The Shadow War. I did it about 6 years ago, in watercolours and airbrush.

Here's the version I did a couple of weeks ago. This one's done with DAZ 3D, sumi ink, watercolours, coloured pencils, and airbrush.

I went to take a look at my old stuff and now my eyes are bleeding from it.

2011 or 2010 an early design of Lucy I seemed to have forgotten about... I think I was 17 or almost at the time I drew this. I cringe whenever I look at it.

Early design of Mel back in 2012 when I was finally starting to find my own style, unfortunately I was going through some really bad depression at the time and thought my art was all crap to top it off so I tore it up along with many other drawings, I regret it so much but hey, I snapped. At least I took a picture before it all happened though. My room looked like a paper shredder exploded afterwards.

2014 4th of July...I was at my friends house drawing this...I was a little buzzed though...

@Zannen00 Ahah yes, you've improved. There is even buildings now ! I think it's a big improvement when you begin to do full drawings/comics with backgrounds.

@AnnaLandin That's a quite big evolution ! The drawing ten years ago was pretty nice, as well as the colors. Now it's even more beautiful with still beautiful colors

@RuS I think that wasn't so bad in 2011. You tried semi realism, it's not given to everyone ! The colors on the giftcard are soft. Also there, I can see the evolution too, and it's a nice one !

@eagle1 Nice improvement, the angle is much better now

@raintowns I love the style you have now, it started with an anime style, but now it's so much more unique ! It's cool !

@MylCreates Oh yes, a lot of images ! The mascot changed a lot too. Good improvement there : )

@zerobloodyrose The one in 2008 was already pretty nice, but the one you made some days ago is wow ! What a change of style !

@winglesscomic Ahah, it looks like... oekaki ! I was a fan of oekaki boards too. Still, it's quite nice to see your evolution through your character !

Well, I got files from 2002/2003, but it's quite easy t compare and say "woah, so much better" because I was doodling for only 1 or 2 years.
So let's go for 2005, when I learned how to use Photoshop properly.

I was eager for clothes folds.
