Oh, this is really cool! Here's a really early, 2005 comic (kind of, hehe), of There's No Such Thing as Jason1!

Here's around... oh wow, 2009?

And this is around mid 2015, last year, eee. Still learning lots of things.

And now, most recent update!

I'm still very much an amateur, there's just... so much to learn about how to draw and compose a comic page. I love it so much, though, I'm so excited to keep learning and grab ideas from other comic artists!

I've been doing comics for only couple of years but the style sure has changed. xD All pages from Fallacy

Late 2013

2014

2016

Here's for hoping that this year will again bring me closer to the images I have in my head. They are still so far away...

look at this wreck

then there was lots of dung, poorly executed jokes and lots of pokémon sketch comics and so here we are.

My very first real, non scribbly comic (drawn in highschool) and my first attempt at drawing a page of Runewriters (drawn for my Digital Colouring For Comics final in college)

And the first actual page of RW, compared with the page I started this year off with. :>

I genuinely can't believe how old the first pages of my comic already look. xD

Well here's a couple of excerpts from my hugely embarrassing first digital comic explaining my username:

And here's one of my latest pages from my comic Polyphemus! (:

And as a bonus here's how I drew myself in a slice of life I attempted the other day as a comparison to that first comic...

This is Page 4 of Burning Bright when I was still getting comfortable with drawing the characters.

Jump forward to Page 36 where the character are better but perspective is still a little wonky.

Aaaand fast forward to Page 69 which I just uploaded today!

Looking back on my old work, the only thing I can say is I'm excited to see how much my art will have improved when I reach certain upcoming scenes in the comic! I'm glad those scenes didn't happen sooner. laughing

I don't have my first comics anymore, they were from about 2010 or so but I lost them... frowning I have one from about 2013, at that time I had a style heavely influenced by manga. And I didn't know anything of shading with ink at all.

This other one is a doujinshi from about 2014. I remember spending tons of hours on that crosshatching!

And these are two are from my latest updates:

I'm still very unexperienced at making comics but I think I've come a long way hehehehe smiley

Here's some crappy ancient comic work from 2010 (I was in 11th grade) the first comic I really did on big paper instead of like, lined composition notebooks, or printer paper, and ballpoint pens. This is on HUGE WATERCOLOR PAPER with SHARPIE because I had no idea what I was doing.

Also what the heck are colors? I was working in Photoshop Elements in 2010 and I had no idea how to make the program make it look how I wanted. Actual photoshop is more comprehensible than Photoshop elements.

I ended up dropping that comic because it was??? a """sequel""" comic to one of the last gross notebook comics and it just made zero sense to anyone who might have been reading it.

I also wanted to work more digitally because I was irritated that I couldn't figure out the programs.
So I started SWNN (which is the confusing and void precursor to one of my current comics...) in 2011 (12th grade). ((Theres actually some digital comics from the winter between that one comic and this one but do we really need to see Anthony stabbing Hezekiah more than once?))

((Oh my gosh the computer says this page was made on this very day in 2011. Time is circular.)

Umn This comic went on until I realized everything that was happening in the comic was going to not actually be important or mean anything when I got to the main comic (city of depression) And also when one of the characters I had based on my school bus friends died in the comic and a month later died in real life.

(this isn't the page in question where friend dies but y'know.) This is one of the last pages from 2013 (it ended in early 2014)

The trick to Gittin' Gud is having fun and drawing something you love.

(((also)))

Just have fun.

And also 2016 Draws:

Oh alright...

Here's a comic I did waaay back in 2011. I joined it in a contest which surprisingly won best story.

Anyway, I'll just display 3 pages of it cus it's sooo bad.

On 2013, I actually started doing The Angel with Black Wings but I decided to redo on 2014. Here's some samples:

Then here's the current version
Chapter 1 Page 02

Chapter 5 Page 11 (latest)

Alright, my turn! Here's the second page of my first comic, Rankor Chronicles! (circa 2009, when I was 13-14)

1

And this was the last, somewhere around 2011-2012.

Nowadays I work as a professional comic book colorist for DC Comics and other editorials, so here's the third page of one of my current comics Coyote Bison, for reference!

I like this topic! Let's do it!

2012, the first finished short story (9 pages) comic I did:

2013, the prototype for my current webcomic, 7 pages long:

The current one, started 2013, 31 pages long and counting:

Posted my first ever one in another topic, but I found the in-between theme interesting here.

So this was from around about 2002 I think I worked out? This is basically what my current comic is based upon. I did 17 of these amazingly... Serious doubts I'll be able to reach that with the updated series haha.

My in-between stage was when I got reintroduced and heavily involved in the Sonic fandom. This comic lasted from 2005-2011 over 8 "books". Here I sort of re-purposed my villains from my original comics, where they really started to gain personalities, and I started caring for them. It was around 2011 when I wondered if I could take the villains back and do something decent with them, roll on 2013...

...I ditch the pencils, and give it a good bash. I'm just on the cusp of finishing the 5th comic, It takes up so many more hours than anything else I've done, but I'm happy I can finally treat these characters with some sort of respect.

This is the whole process of my comic1

This page was an experiment when I started drawing in digital, this is from around 2012-2013, and you can see the first 4 important characters Hikari (Protagonist) Hiroto (he looks with a slighty different hair style) Telmo (also slighty style and personality) and Blue-Angel (her dress never changed, but her face in the pannel here is like "kill me now" xD) Don't mind the other two characters, they got deleted xD

And after the experiment ^ I wanted to make a pilot chapter, so far this is what I did with SAI, again, during 2013. Don't try to read the dialogues, they're badly written, in those times my english was worse than now :'D

And this is from the latest update in the comic here, chapter 3 and still counting, though, chapter 3 was made on 2015.

3 months later

My first comics are so... so random.
1

And then I started my current comic.

And now I'm here!

The end!

First page of Fallacy (Although it got later colors and the digital text)

Page 59

And the newest, page 103

Here's mine! Included only my digital career so far.
