Hello,
Do you guys know any software I can record my desktop with? XSplit takes a lot of gigs and camtasia is being sassy. Fraps doesn't want to cooperate with my either. Recording is bit wonky, unless you know any good settings. Anyway I need something that won't take much space.

The only other one I know of is Bandicam.
I.. I don't have experience with this though so I'm actually curious to see what people can recommend too.

I use Xsplit broadcaster for my speed paints and my streams. I like it because I can put pictures of my characters on the screen and stuff O3O It shouldn't take up too much as long as you delete the recording after uploading it to youtube and such. I do a PC cleanup every now and then to free up space. The reason for why camtasia is being sassy is probably because you upgraded your computer windows and it's no longer compatible unless you upgrade to the latest version of camtasia but that costs money...

@Savannah Camtasia is being sassy because it's cracked. I wouldn't update my windows, I'm not crazy XD
Xsplit took my whole disc space, 90 gigs for 30 minutes! That's insane!

Whoa wuuut!? O_O'
That shouldn't happen! My last recording from a few days ago was only an hour and it only took 1.17 GB!

I used the free software called Camstudio.6 You also have to download and install their codec because it's the best in terms of quality compared to default codecs you have in the pc. Also the software's format is AVI only. You just need to tweak some settings so to get a low file size.

My sis and I usually use Joyoshare Screen Recorder. It helps us capture gameplay in 1080p with no latency and no watermark.

I prefer using that app too~ <3 you can also do steamlab for better features~ it's still OBS but with better features~
