Comicfury's great if your just starting out and your a relative novice as a creator. There's no divide between the professional creators and the novice creator like there is on other sites. In fact, the site directly starts you off with the newest comics instead of starting you on the most popular or featured section that other places will.
Personally, I think its a place that's much easier for you to earn readership than on other places but its small population means you're going to reach a limit. It's not the place you go to in the hopes of getting 1,000 subs. It's a great place as I said for novice creators just starting out and earning a small but certain readership.
If your a professional creator, its not much more than a side dish and you won't get much in comparison than you would on Tapastic. However, if you are a novice creator starting out, it works much better because your more likely to get interaction out of there than a place like Tapastic which has a heavy focus on popular, featured and overall professional work.
In the end, Comicfury is more laid back and accepting of different kinds and quality of works, making it great for artists who may still be working on improving their material. Their rating system is also much more open than say Webtoons, and it definitely comes off as people wanting to show support and not just criticize someone's work.
At the same time as mentioned, it's population is small so you're never going to get a high number of readers even at the most popular, there's no revenue system and the design can be a bit clunky at times. A great place for the novices who probably wouldn't get as much attention on other places but not much worth to the professionals.
