OK, so you're drawing on an iPad. I have an iPad air 5th gen with the Apple pencil but I never use it for drawing. Instead I use my Dell laptop, which is a 2-in-1 with a 16" screen, 3880X2400 resolution, and the Dell stylus. I like the big screen over the iPad because my old-ass eyes prefer larger (my drawings are often over 10k pixels wide). For software I use Krita because it was the first software that I tried after not drawing for 25+ years and I've gotten used to it. I tried CSP but the learning curve was too steep.
I was wondering, does your stylus have pressure sensitivity? I ask because your digital drawing lines seem to be heavy and dark, but your paper drawings are soft and light. A pressure sensitive stylus allows you to do the soft and light "sketch" style on a digital surface. You can make it look just like a pencil drawing, or even a ballpoint pen style sketch, as I have done with the monochrome drawings that I've posted here.
