Stalled Ad Revenue?

Has anyone else not been getting ad revenue this month?
like normally for this amount of ad impressions:

i would have gotten a couple cents by now.

Did something change when they rolled out the new format or something?

Edit: Okay so it seems like revenue is still happening, but it's just been greatly reduced or something is what I'm gathering from this. Thanks for the responses!

Don't think so
I usually get a cent per like... 500 impressions
But I don't think the revenue received has to do with the impressions. (Someone once told me it had to do with ad clicks? But I could be wrong on that)

I have noticed that I get ad revenue only if there is around 200 ad impressions in a day.
I have 1k ad impressions for the month, but I've only got two cents in revenue.

Yeah, I was getting ad revenue for around 100 impressions a day (which was around 2000 a month and averaged about 20 cents), but this month I got nothing : /

Yeah I have no idea how it does ad revenue from impressions--since I don't know if a user with Ad Block may count as an impression. I've only ever gotten like...5 cents total in all my time having it unlocked, haha.

I don't think adblock counts. I got slight increase in revenue after I posted about turning off adblock in the author notes of one episode

While we’re here - can someone explain to me how total support works. I’ve had $36 for a long time but don’t know how I’ll ever see that turned into anything real.

If you have over 25 you should be able to request a transfer via your dashboard @Maps

I haven't gotten any this month either. Maybe there's a bug in the system, or an Update Glitch.

it's not stalled. you need to have a lot of add impression to even get just a small amount of money.

Yeah CPM rates fluctuate all the time, I'm sure the world pandemic's been a factor.

Tapas ad revenue is a joke.

Try mirroring your story on ComicFury and adding a ComicAd banner there.

For example: my novel (Cold Obsidian) and my comic (GWI) get only between 50 and 200 views a day on CF but earn me 10-20 cents a day each, sometimes more.

I wonder if it yields more in ad impressions because independent companies/creators are paying for their ads to be shown instead of big ad companies that Tapas/WT and other places use that represent a whole bunch of other companies

Yes, ComicAd is for small independent creators. So those ads are not only well-paying, they're also not disgusting and are not spying on you. I like them a lot.

Probably. If the ad budget isn't big to begin with, the creator won't get much either.
I know that for example on Youtube the ad revenue drops a lot in the first months of the year because the companies the advertise have used most of their budget on holiday season and are less inclined to advertise much right after New Year

I've also been wondering about this with mine too. I've gotten a little over 700 ad impressions since unlocking ad revenue and it hasn't yielded a full cent. I know the ad revenue program doesn't give you much but because it's $0.00, I was wondering if mine was broken.
