So I have this, lets say gift, where I can figure out a plot of an entire game or book or movie just from usually the first 30 minutes. I watched for the first time "Fantastic Beasts and where to find them" today with my parents, the only thing I knew beforehand was that Johnny Depp was in it as Grindewald. So around the time the ex-auror (tina?) takes Newt to the ministry for the first time, I knew the whole plot. I mean this is not the most sophisticated plot to figure out ever, but it was funny to me how exactly right I was when Graves was a potion drinkin' Johnny Depp.
Another crap-plot I figured was Fallout 4 in the opening cutscene. Knew straight away how it was going to end. Friend told me I was right, I never played the game after that coz I was 100% sure I was right.
I don't think there's been a ton of movies that genuinely surprised me. Horror as a genre is the worst, it's aaaaaalll extremely predictable and that sucks coz I love horror. Probably the only film I didn't see the plot twist coming 50 minutes before was The Skin that I live in, but that movies was fucken weird. Good though. Maybe. I just dunno what to think of it lmao.
ANYWAY, Do you figure out plots to movies before hand? if you do, are you still able to enjoy them, or not?
