Oh did you send them a DM? If so yeah maybe @ them cause the forum sometimes fails to notify someone with new messages in that sense. After that I guess we’ll just post bump every once in a while to see if anyone else wants to join. @fearthedeer724

If its cool I'll give it another 24h then? just to see if anyone else wants to hop in this weekend?

I'm okay with that! I'm also hoping we can get more people in on the game too :persevere:

Well, Idk about Melancholic but it seems like Leyelle isn't interested :pensive:

With that, I guess I'll pick the first chest

Alrighty, congratulations to @fearthedeer724 ! I'll send over some likes soon

When you open the chest, you find a book of sneaking! Your steath is improved. Turns out as a paladin who wears huge, clunky and often clangy armour, this is what you always wanted, so that's great. Your party members let you have it, uninterested in the reward.

@BellaTheCow , you also chose well, but that chest was filled with gold coins, and unfortunately you had just taken a vow of poverty as a follower of your god as a holy knight. Your party members are thrilled tho, and its nice to see them happy.

For the next few rounds, would you want to try playing it with prompts for each other? Like a random noun / verb / adjective to inspire the next set of doors? Idk lol happy to keep on as we are too! If you are interested tho, to save on me missing a reply, I have a set here inspired by what's on my desk rn lol: point (v), tangerine (n), lavender (adj)

Ah sure!! so if someone gave me the words measurement (n), advertise (v), vague (adj), i could come up with some sort of setting for the doors inspired by that. Like in that case, i could write the following nonsense lol:

"You stand before an enormous billboard. In cartoonish letters surrounded by smiley face emojis, the words "Choose now or you may face some sort of consequences! If you succeed, you'll win a gift card for some ~luxury brand product~!"

You want to turn around and leave the sketchy advertisement behind, but whenever you try to turn away it appears in front of you once more, blocking your path.
"Fine," you sigh, ready to accept the vague terms offered by the maybe-haunted, click-baited billboard.

"Yay~!" reads the billboard.
Below it, three doors appear. One stands two feet tall and two feet wide. The second is huge, a full three meters tall and two meters wide. The third is thin but even taller, standing four meters high and just 20 inches wide. You know the dimensions exactly because for some reason the measurements are marked in large font on each door.

What do you choose?"

Oooooh, I get it now! Lol I'm a little slow so that was helpful :joy: but yeah, that sounds like fun! Let's do it!

No not slow at all!! I shouldve given an example to start haha
Cool Im gonna pass this off to you @fearthedeer724 with my sunday writing desk words:
point (v), tangerine (n), lavender (adj)

(the point verb comes from my new little wooden drawing models that i finally got haha)

Okay, I think I've got a good one! Hopefully, this follows the prompt :joy:

Point – You find an ancient map with an X marking a point deep in the forest. You follow the map, but will you find the treasure safely or die trying?

Lavender – You stumble upon a field of glowing lavender under the warm sunlight. Do you pick some and start a herbalist business, or simply enjoy the beauty before you for what it is?

Tangerine – A stranger hands you a tangerine with an urgent whisper: "Eat this when the sun sets." Do you eat it at sunset or demand answers from the stranger?

I am eating the tangerine at sunset!

Well that was fast :joy: @vieveda, congratulations! I'll do 5 likes and comments on your work!

Now...

Once you take a piece into your mouth and chew, you find yourself in a foreign space, floating in a sea of shimmering colors. In front of you, a goddess appears and promises you an answer to any one question you're curious about. long story short, you are the only human in the world that knows the true meaning of life :nerd:

Now that you are the new Game Master, please make the next three options by at least this time tomorrow @vieveda! If you're confused on how this works, please refer to the first post :gift_heart:

Though, if you want to do the new version of the game raspberry590 came up with, here are my three words.

(N) Lantern

(Adj) Brittle

(V) Whisper

The palace lanterns were lit as the glittering stars found their positions in the heavens; twinkling so brightly as if to outshine the flames of men. "Stop staring at the sky!" called the little maid to her friend. "Come and take a look at this instead!"

The friend crept over to where the little maid had poked three holes into the brittle window paper. "Which delight of the palace do you want to see tonight?" she whispered.

  1. The first hole is as high as the maid's knee and looks into the concubine's chamber.

  2. The second hole is just right to peek into the kitchen.

  3. For the third hole a chair is required should you wish to see into the Prince's study.

You did that so much better than I did...

I didn't follow the example at all :confounded: I thought I had it but I just did my own thing :persevere:

I liked yours very much, so much so that I happily ate the tangerine :tangerine:

oh but I liked yours too!! having one word inspire each door was very conceptual and cool! my favorite thing about this kinda thing is seeing how people reinterpret things as we go back and forth

gonna go eat another tangerine now because all the tangerine talk has me craving more haha, I'll give it a bit of time before I pick a door @vieveda in case other players want to jump in since I just went! I really like the setting you made!
