Hi everyone!

If any of you are interested, I have entered my book Socializing to the contest and I am eager to read some of the others! Thankyou in advance if you do read!

Hi, I have a question regarding the contest.
Should the story for the contest be in English?
So far my novels have always been published in my native language, which is Spanish

So many great stories in this Writers Camp! I look forward to reading them!

Here's my entry, The Marriage Interloper. It is BL and will have mature themes.

Synopsis:
Wren Whitman is 20 years old and completely down on his luck. He lost his part-time job and found himself homeless, all in one day.

As if his luck isn't bad enough as it is, he finds himself mugged and caught in rainstorm. Starving, he steals a couple of pastries from a mysterious wedding feast... and finds himself trapped in a marriage with a groom who will do nearly anything to be rid of him.

Best of luck to all of the Writers Camp authors!

Just gonna put this here.

Been really enjoying the contest. Looking forward to all the others yet to come.

Two questions:
Is there a limit on how short/long the novel must be?
What should be submitted to writingcontest@tapasmedia.co if the novel is still in progress? Just a link to the already published chapters?

Is this the answer you're looking for?

Your novel must have at least 10 episodes that are at least 500 words each by the end of the submission period. You do not have to submit a complete story by April 19th, but it’s important to keep in mind that if you submit and win, you will need to finish the story at some point!

Thanks spicy_sweets! Yeah, I saw this, but I thought there's also got to be some overall minimum / maximum of words. I guess it's good enough, it sets the minimum at 5000 words.

My submission hasn't appeared on the collection page yet, is there something special I need to do?

Yes and I got a response confirming. I have it tagged too.

Ah okay. I've seen some go up since I entered so I got a little paranoid that I did something wrong. Thanks for letting me know!

This sounds like a pretty fun contest. I'll definitely be participating.

Hi, I'm a writer. I mostly read on Tapas, though am to do the Writers Camp Contest. I'm not sure where to post my story too and do I keep the rights? I just want to make sure

Here's my entry :1234: having a bisexual MC and a deaf MC (kinda gives a Koe no Katachi vibe but inspired not copied )

UIAO

"UIAO? What the hell does that even mean?"

"You can take as long as you want, you read my lips, it's now time for you to guess what I said."

With that, a challenge was made. Eira Rodriguez, the player who could charm men and women, played a game she knew that was harder than those she played with her flings. A game with the woman whom she swore never to play with, Amari Fuentes.

Hello, here is mine.

It's a simple story about two creatures trying to understand each other. Or maybe not that simple
