We wanted to try and create a fair playing field and didn't want stories that have been around for months or years to have a subscriber advantage over stories that might just be getting published. If you're planning on submitting, make sure not to publish it before March 19th or after April 19th or it will be disqualified.
@MariMontoya You don't need to give us your real name in your first submission, and we're happy to eventually publish your work using your pen name even if you do first introduce yourself with your pen name. Many of our Premium authors communicate with us using their real names while publishing under pen names.
@VibrantFox Please do spread the word! We have plans for further announcements to roll out to different parts of the site and on our social media, but word of mouth among creators is equally important.
