It accumulates and adds up with each month. You don't have to make 25$ in the same month. The same as it would the supporter program.

I am assume so anyway, I'm only 99% certain on this, I have not made under 25$ in ad revenue a month yet so I couldn't double check myself to make sure.

Unlike Patreon, which you need to make payments in full on to receive any of the tier rewards, Tapastic keeps track of your monthly payments and adds it up to go towards the next milestone.

So on Patreon, wanna get a wallpaper? Better change your monthly fee to $5.

Wanna get a wallpaper on Tapastic but can only do $1/month? You'll get them after 5 months of supporting $1.

Well, first you need to be registered with the Ad Revebue program lol Which I'm gonna assume you are
I find I make a dollar for every 1.2k - 1.6k ad views.
Disclaimer: You will not be raking in the dough with Ad Revenue, at least not right away. Build your readership, make them aware that you're a part of the Ad Revenue program (so they know to scroll and will consider turning off their AdBlocker), and you'll start making a couple bucks each day.

As far as ad revenue goes, that's pretty common. Even if you establish your own site with ads. Until you have a big daily traffic to the site, you're going to be making pennies a day. It's definitely not something to rely on when it comes to compensation.

30% doesn't seem that high honestly. Wouldn't low page views cost Tapastic more since they bring in less money/readers?

I honestly never notice how much tapastic takes until I look. One day I made $.22 and they made $.7 if you really want them to make less a day than that I'd just think you're being greedy. Like they say, you're not going to make a living off of this. And do you really want to make Tapastic, the place that gives you a wonderful home to make less money because you aren't popular enough? By them taking more money that gives the opportunity for them to make a better site. Which in return gets me more views.

But in all honesty, all of the 30% commission goes to paying for server costs. We are averaging somewhere north of 500 episode updates a day (compared to just 100 this time last year) so server costs have gone up significantly.

After you've made a series and uploaded an episode, go ahead and click on your profile icon on the upper right hand corner of the tool bar on the main page of Tapastic. This will allow you to access the drop down menu where you can click on "Dashboard." This will navigate you towards a new page, on this new page, there will be a series of icons at the top. One of them will have this cool looking eye-ball thing with "ads" written below it - go ahead and click on that to help you get started.

Has anyone else been telling everyone they are getting paid for working on comics? I think I need to expand my horizons and not just work on my comic these days. lol. I've just been working on the comic and another thing these past months so its all I can say to people when they ask me what I've been up to. >_<
I feel like I'm lying when I say it to them, even though money is money, no matter how much it is.

Well basically, I have two comics; one original and one fan-based. I thought the ad-revenue program is activated per comic and not for all your comics. So when I activated it I had no clue that it included my fan-based comic. (I already knew about the ad-revenue program against fan-based comics). Is there any way I can turn it off?
