Just out of curiosity ^^ which one has more pro's in your opinion? if this topic has already been created it can be deleted, no problem

No wonder that most of the people have chosen tapas. This is tapas forum, after all! ¯_(ツ)_/¯
I mean, people's opinion here on this question will inevitably be somewhat biased.

also because my comic is animated and uses gifs which webtoons doesnt support :U

and uh... I use tapas format to pull a whammy on people xD

It hard for me to say for sure. I like tapas more, but that's subjective. Objectively we have much more subs and visibility on Webtoons, even though its is pretty small too.

I voted for webtoons too, And I like them because there's more traffic there plus there are advantages like they give you money if you make enough views

Agreed with @Rodimus13 on both. Tapas has the easier way to communicate with readers (and other creators) and of course the forums.

Webtoon on the other hand has the audience pull and for most parts is easier and faster to get subs. I spend more time in Tapas though cause of the communication system, while in webtoon is mostly I post my comic, read and comment on other comics, rarely a communication of back and forth though.

Hmm can you send your files somewhere? Like air drop to your computer or something? Maybe then you could do a save as for jpg

Perhapes? But I only work on my iPhone and can't find a good converter? I always end up with JPEG and not JPG
So I just stay at Tapas for now.

Although if I were to upload a comic again, I would do it in scroll format for webtoons and page format for tapas.

Even if it's the first website where I consistently started to read comics, I've pretty much given up using Webtoon lately.
Censorship issues, the focus on a format I don't like at all, the fact I can't think of a comic that I read there that I can't read somewhere else, my own comic doing the worst on webtoons (actually even worse than on non-comic, non art-places!).. well, it's not really engaging.

But I'm not one to get discouraged in a few months, so I'll continue posting there. But for sure not my favorite.

I'm on both, and Webtoon has a bigger audience who are more vocal buuuuuut...

Tapas at least tells you when someone sends you a comment. It at least makes it simple and easy to communicate with your readers and fans. It doesn't make you feel totally alienated from them and put on a pedestal.

If tapas had as many users as webtoon it would literally be no competition at all.

I mean, both have their equal gripes, I'm not gonna lie. But for making an effort to combine comics, novels, and ways to gain tips, as well as scheduling your works and allowing buffer ON buffer.... I'd go with Tapas. At least until another option comes to play and blows Tapas out of the water.

Just on the baseline of what you can post as far as mature subject matter goes, I much prefer Tap.
