I'm still new to Tapas and the forums especially, but I hope it's not taboo to start a new topic inspired by an existing one!

I found a promotional thread that was "post a line of dialogue said by your villain", and I thought it was a really cool idea! The thread was only for novels, so I thought I'd start one for comics too. Again, please let me know if that's... stealing an idea or something... Here's a link to the original thread:

Feel free down below to share a panel or a line or dialogue, or just some info about a villain/antagonist from your comic! Who doesn't love a great villain!

Ironically my comic doesn't have a traditional antagonist... but it is a horror comic and one character in particular is a bit morally grey/misguided? to say the least. Here's a line from them (they haven't been introduced yet so this is from the fuuuutureee, haha.

"Hey, I know... What if when you go to sleep, we tie your hands to this pillar? That way you'd be safe and couldn't wander off!"

wow... sounds a bit creepier out of context... but it is a horror story I guess! :grimacing:

"I keep everything I love on a leash, nice and tight and close, where I can always pull them back towards me; No matter how far they go."
My main villian hasn't been fully introduced yet, but I can't wait until they are! Her name is Nezphyte, based on the Egyptian mother goddess! Her role is essentially the creator of vampire kind and is about to come back to life! Check out the beginning here if you're interested!

"Don't think that the gods care for you. You're disposable! The minute you die, they'll get a new Realmwalker. Nobody wants you. Nobody cares about you. Know your place, girl, for you are NOTHING."
My main villain is Lorelei, an evil river spirit hellbent on world domination, via an army of ogres and frost giants, a cursed tiara, and her hypnotic abilities.

Here's a line for my character Aurora. She was introduced in the prologue, but she didn't say anything yet. So, I'll give you my favourite line for her that I plan on putting in a future episode!
"If bloodshed is required to conquer the Universe, then we will not hesitate..."

This is the Supreme Chancellor Calamitas, and a short line to go with him:

"For 7000 years I've dictated the outcomes of so many soul threads, I will not be undone by the visions of some madman."

Oh neat! What a coincidence both our lines of dialogue are about tying someone up, haha.

Your art style looks really cool! I am very partial to greyscale myself.

Oh I have a few villains...but ...here's one that's been around for a bit, the one and the only Erick Blackhart. And since this is just a teaser, you can't see his actual face

my villain and hero still not make their debut yet....If my villain make their first debut,I will show his dialogue.Wait for it :imp:

It actually shows in a later story, but I have an extract of "The Patriarch" from my series:

"You look like a walking piece of scrap metal, heading toward its Junkyard... Are you?"

Despite looking like this

Set in a "Fantasy" world with Sci-fi roots, "Stories from the Golden Garden" is a "Slice of Life" anthology that, following the Prologue, tells 5 short stories based around 4 Holidays that are celebrated by the Main Characters, and the origin Story of the main protagonist of "The Golden Garden".

I release it both in English:

And in Italian (My Motherlanguage):

I hope you might like it, despire only a few pages of the Prologue being pubblished as of now.
Enjoy your stay, Have a nice day!

Oh thank you, it actually came from the original Italian name of the Series "Il Giardino Aureo", as "Aureo" is a Synonim of "Oro", that is "Gold", so "Golden Garden".

My main villain for the story is something thats for sure, lmao. She's a shapeshifting demon Queen praised by everyone in the deadlands, and she is COLD.

"Now if you will excuse me Assassin. I will be having a tea party with my daughter.” This is already pretty far into the future of the story, and as such, this is a teaser for even avid readers.

My first villain hasn't shown up yet, but let's just say...she can be a bit possessive...if you get what I mean :))

Oh, he's introduced in the first panel hahaha. Ki'Nar is an over-caffeinated interdimensional scientist with anger issues and a bizarre moral compass.

thanks for the thread
here are two of my main villain in my stories i really love them and i can't wait to get to draw them some more!

Because you said "Villain" and not "Antagonist", that gives me the freedom to tease like... 90% of my cast.
A favourite of mine is a guy called Angelo Naco.
He's essentially the centre of the universe.
If something bad happens, he's either the cause, was involved or was there to see it happen.

"Don’t think for a second that we’re on the same level, Maria. When I give you some advice, you ought to heed it as though your worthless life depends on it!"

Conniving. Manipulative. Merciless

The most feared girl in her social circle. Perhaps the entire school.

She could make or break (but mostly break) your whole social life.

Cross her, and she'll bury you.

Butter her up, and she'll be your best friend...until she decides to bury you.

Everything she wants, she gets...even if it's your boyfriend.

She is THE LAST person in school you want to jerk around.

This is the main villain, I don't wanna say TOO much about him but he's the guy that really changes everything lol. He's going to really make you question who the real bad guy is
(there's also a few minor villains as well, they're not related to this guy tho)

1 month later

"You're so forward, at least take me to dinner first"

MAJOR SPOILERS (obviously, it's a mystery)

Summary

"Perhaps... this is the unrelenting Will of God... and no man can escape Fate..."

Here's the main villain of Arbiter's Wake, Govodawn.
He hasn't made himself known just yet but he's sure to rattle things up.

He was originally a high elf mage that was a prodigy when it came to arcane magics, turned necromancer.

Older design (2009)

Newer design (2020)

This is my villain  I really love the character design and the background story. sadly I can't tell anything about him/her, because I don't introduce her/hom in the comic yet :frowning: and long long time there will be no really important information about him/her

I suppose the thing about having a strip comic with vaguely political overtones is that you don't really have a villain...

Oh wait!

"Try to relax, mein flieger - think of all the good you're doing your fellow man!" - Franz Teudt

Dr. Franz Teudt is a scientist trying to create a serum to give people superhuman abilities. Let's just say that he isn't the most ethical of doctors...
