I noticed that too, sometimes I wonder if the views and the likes are real and not fake.
i'm kind of starting to reconsider mangatoons, after having a total comic related breakdown and talking to people about it, i was told to possibly keep to 1 or two websites
plus with the completion of chapter 3 in the future, i want to start planning a physical release and thiat rule list is shadowing me TwT;;
So it sounds like the site is broken, overly managed and totally not worth anyone's time.
i guess what im asking is should i request a removal
it is official, my paranoia cause Royal to be eradicated off Mangatoon, something in my gut told me to do it before it was too late. before i could have possibly lost it forever
maybe i should stop giving the staff like @michaelson a hard time cause if something happens, i may need Tapas' help since besides a small forum, Tapas was the first to get Royal

The site hides its terms good and when i found more of it, i became terrified, since my comic was nowhere near close to being profitable to them, i figure now was the best time.
Next time ask the folks directly. We did with webcomic app and they assured us we retained full rights.

You're essentially entering a business deal with them and in business deals, both parties shouldn't really pussyfoot around because that's where expensive lawsuits come from which nobody on both parties want to deal with
i emailed about a request of removal due to "not keeping up". i havent got a reply yet but i don't think they could get anywhere with a blank comic called "webcomic nolonger available"
the one thing that doeskeep my hopes up is that one of their rules says that they are not responsible if your comic is stolen and put up on another site. if they were taking your IP from you... it would be their responsibility
speaking of monetisation, they said we could monetise our series by locking some of the episodes if we want to.
so in theory if we perform well enough they might pay us
i got a response back from them, they kind of beat around the bush and say "they'll wait for my return" in other words, my removal was denied.
yeah.... glad i did this... cause i am never returning

Mangatoon seems okay to me. about the rights, we still own the right of our own comic. I think those right mention above was for exclusive publish.

so it was a good thing i completely wiped my comic off the face of the site before i got myself too deep
That's weird. "Yes, absolutely your comic is yours, Your own the rights of your comic, We just need some reasonable rights licenses to publish it on our platform legally."That's what they told me.
and webcomicsapp however doesn't do very well
