On a personal note.

My gender dysphoria is getting worst. It is killing me emotionally and I have become somewhat zombified. People around me notice that I am not acting right. Being in the closet is painful.

It just builds up and up. I feel like I am going to break.

the trans people don't put any genuine effort into transitioning into their desired gender yet demand to be taken seriously without having put in any of the work thus making legit trans people look bad as a whole.

THIS is what I mean when I say you post transphobic stuff. Transitioning is easier to some and harder to others. You are not the judge of who is a "legit" trans person. Being trans has nothing to do with you, so leave these folks alone.

what i found most concerning is it wasn't just young kids but grown adults, albeit young ones, who still probably know better plus they've been airing the safety ads for tide lately. not sure what it'll do though but it's something i guess.

It actually takes me back to a memory I thought I forgot long ago.
I was...what 5? 4? Anyway, I, for some reason, put a penny in my mouth and swallowed it. And immediately, my dad grabbed me and had to do the Heimlich maneuver. But you have teens, even grown people, doing something a small child would do.

Exactly!! Like, I'm with you -- I don't count people who might not have the mental capability to know it's not candy: they just don't know, and someone needs to be there to keep them safe. But a lot of these people most definitely know better and still do it.

while it's less risky to eat a spoonful of cinnamon as opposed to a killer detergent pod, can't it still restrict your airways or potentially enter a lung or something if you inhale??

irrc, the whole point was to laugh at people coughing after eating a spoonful of cinnamon.

Can't recall though if there were any serious cases of people being rushed to the hospital or what have you.

If anything, it was still less dumb than chewing on laundry detergent candies.

The cinnamon challenge might be less dangerous then the tide pod one but it's still caused serious harm.
