Everyone needs to feel inspired. Before moving ahead let's all come to the understanding that there is no original work and inspiration is inspired by inspiration. Thus the reference.

Okay, so artists get art block and writers get writer's block. One remedy is looking for inspiration, whether that be from reviewing concepts, lore, and the general works of certain genres. However, it ain't easy to get inspired. Why? Cause we don't know where to look.

People can say, "just look in pinterest", "you'll find lots of things on pinterest". My problem with pinterest is there are only single pieces of a concept, part of the context, a fragment of the hook i'm looking for. "Wattpad has tons of novels. Look there," and use a not so perfect search system. No burn to either pinterest or wattpad, but at least you succeeded in your motives.

The point is, if an artist, writer, or whatever needed to come up with an idea beyond our burnouts, we wouldn't know where to start. So why not here?

This thread will go like this...

Tags: With big bold letters, write down some tags so that anyone who enters this thread can just look at these and pinpoint their general shtick so they don't have to read god knows how many of these entries you guys are gonna make.

Vision: Describe what your looking for the best you can without writing so much. Trust me, summarizing helps everyone.

That thing that determines what kind of inspiration you're looking for in terms of categorical setting: Genre

Music: If it helps. Something for the mood you're looking for.

Artist: Essentially asking for work similar to this person's stuff.

Writer: The same thing as this^ but with words.

This: Post a specific piece of art, piece of writing, or song in hopes that someone understands what you're looking for. Not sarcasm.

^^^^

So, use all of these or some. The rest of us can then reply, on this thread, any recommendations that fit what you're looking for. Exact or broad, recommend an artist, art piece, writer, novel, artist, song (with credit to whoever created it). Not just cause of copyright reasons, but also just in case someone needs more from that person's work. All for reference not plagiarism.

Sorry for all the sarcastic tones. Now lets get inspired.
