Shadedancer doing his walk of badassery before his incoming finishing move.

I should be doing other things, but I couldn‘t resist the urge QwQ

JJK is a master-class in learning how to use hands to express emotion. I don't think I've seen any other mangaka use hands like that quite as much.

Is there anything it's not a master class in??? :joy: The monster design is so wtf like how did he come up with this stuff. The hands are especially great though! :+1: There's a lot that's just not applicable to what I want to do but either way, really rich learning material.

Also, the fighting action flow is top notch too, especially in the more recent episodes.
His art really reminds of the stuff in mid to late HxH and YuYu Hakusho when it comes to the simple uses of white and sketchy linework.

This gym was honestly rather boring, which means that things, of course, are going well.
We welcome to the team Della the Ducklett, who pulled her weight in the battle against Clay, and Telephus the Deerling, who did absolutely nothing.
Entirely boring, had a safe encounter with Team Plasma, had a safe battle against Clay, the only thing saving this section was Driftveil's music.

Art night in while husband is out for some beer and dinner with a friend. I was flipping through last year's sketches and what the hell - apparently in April I was doing JJK studies and tired-looking OCs... must be something about April?

Thought it would be fun to redo a study I did focusing on hands. I think it looks much better this year!!

And those anatomy courses are no joke lol - April 2021 Ellie could use a redraw sometime O_O

Ellie is exhausted from anatomy classes.
Nice proportion adjustments on the hands.

Lol, probably XD. That was the last sketch before my hand was bothering me and I switched to the right hand for a few days, so who knows! And thank you - I can tell I was trying really really hard on the hands last year because it's way beyond what my skill level was according to the nearby sketches. But experience is better :).
