Behold, the benefits of having small children that are to scale with your characters. Free references (there's no child labor laws for that one, is there?!?!).

I also took a break from the comic over the Hollidays (good lord, swapping comic time for Smash Bros was a dangerous decision. I am officially a late in life Smash Bros convert and Worlds of Light is too damn fun. For the sake of my comic, I have to let it go (for a bit...).

I did make some fan art, though (so, you know, it wasn't all video games). Love, love, love these series:

Wellside Wishes:

The Sunday Hustle:

Revenge of the Candy Snatchers:

@DanielRKM oh you are right here xD I thought I will be dead, but somehow I got the second breath haha
Another... Something

That's some awesome fan art you got there! Candy Snatcher look especially amazing with all the motion and colors! :heart_02:

It's been a minute since I've posted here, but here's some sketches of my characters that I feel came out really nicely. I'm trying to work on forehead proportions. It's something that's always tripped me up a little, and I often feel there's not enough space for characters' eyebrows when I draw them.

In the colored sketch, I'm also experimenting with how characters with dyed hair like Emil might change over the course of the series. You can see a little brown peeking in from the sides.

@Kelheor My god. The emoting on Shendal is stellar. Do you do tutorials on how you inject those perfectly emotive face shapes into your characters? Because I will take that class.

Aww, hahaha thanks so much @DanielRKM! You are totally taking that class right now since the only class I take is this thread :hype_01:
