@wispysing I love her headdress so much :see_no_evil: and she owns this angle!

@EncryptedWriting nah it doesn't look messy. Looks complicated enough, but definitely not messy  do you like the design or you think it still needs something?

Aaaanywhooo I completely ruined my day with an "I hate coloring backgrounds" tantrum, so here I am. In ruins lol. Colorful baby.
It's funny how I need specific characters to have fun with art, but I guess that's a habit at this point

@Kelheor Aw thank you, Kel! The original headdress was a bit goofy-looking I feel, so I went to tweak it but still wanting to retain the winged element. It was such a pain to design so your words mean a lot. :yellow_heart:

Totally feel you on BGs and characters, I don't think I would've enjoyed art all that much if not for fanarts and OCs tbh. :joy: That piece's looking great though, really vibrant colors going on!

I did a quick explaination sketch to show someone on facebook how to learn to draw characters in
a style. I should have used a different head to body ratio, the character in the reference is probably
in 1:5 proportions and I drew him in 1:6 proportions

"Doesn't look too bad?"
IT HAS THE PERFECT COLORING

omg I'm obsessed with her. I want to put her on my walls (or like... a wall. I'm just not sure which).

Oh, I wish! That would be so much fun! I love scooby-doo, it was one of my favorite franchises growing up. Just drawing this has got me thinking of story ideas. And from what I've heard about Velma, just about anybody could do a better job.

Yeah, I love Scooby Doo a lot as well. (Heck, the dynamics of Mystery Inc were one of the main inspirations for the Dragoons actually)

I just want a Scooby Doo Murder Mystery Seires that's basically just Monk Meets Scooby Doo and not whatever Dumpster Fire Velma was....
