@Lensing You're getting lots of studying in. :smile::+1:

You've also reminded me, I need to look at/draw more people talking.

Trying my hand at the Hanna Barbara style. Though it came out not too different than my usual style.

The 5 minutes timer thing really works well.
My whole life consists of habits and doing things with a timer.
I never thought that I would do that or that I would like it,
but it makes things so much easier.
I also do that with tutorials. When I don´t want to study then
I just set a timer for 5 minutes. 5 minutes are over fast.

That’s good. The Hanna Barbera style is really simple. Most cartoon characters from that era have big round circle eyes, 4 fingers that are not detailed, and their feet is usually facing opposite directions. And a lot of them have a cartoonish expression to them. Even in serious moments, you can tell their mannerisms look animated. Here’s an example you can try next time. Notice the kid on the left:

@AmazementComics
Thank you for tips. I was trying for something Scooby Doo-esque. I'll keep them in mind if I ever decide to try a more classic style.
I probably could've done a better job at positioning her feet though.

@DanielRKM Thank you!

About me? My contract as an English-peddler ended yesterday and now it's AirB&Bs (Doing my part to perpetuate the housing crisis!) until I fly home at the end of the month.

STORY TIME :tada:
so uhhhh... i just started an instagram after being coerced by a bestie. I really do not like social media and detest making consistent posts for algorithms... but alas, my friend was like, "it'd help ur reader base. maybe get u patrons if u try." Me on the outside was like, "aight" but inside i was very, " :cry_swag: "

For 2 months, I tried to figure out the reason why it wasn't allowing me to schedule posts. I switched to business, professional, and creator accounts to see if it worked. I googled for answers--nothing. I thought it was an account age thing, so I waited 24 hours... then 48 hours... then 30 days. Then I thought it was because I have a separate account (for meme exchange with besties only), and that one had the option to schedule. I even sent a message to the instagram lords to ask for them to bestow tech guidance upon my cranial vessel.

Then today I thought, "gee whiz, i haven't posted since I made the account. i'm not even trying. i'll make a silly video." ... now I have the option to schedule posts, because FOR SOME REASON instagram doesn't tell you that you need to make a freaking reel before you have any options available to you. :rage:

TL;DR: instagram is bogus and i hate reels and despise short form videos. thank u for coming to my rage-spitting seminar.

also, i just scheduled 10 posts so i don't have to pick up my phone for another week.

Funny joke idea I had for a while back.
