I´m trying to learn the Riley method.
I broke down the front view in 19 steps and
memorised them by tracing and then eyeballing them.
It took me 2 days to learn the system, this is just the theory
I hope I can use that for figure drawing.

I´m going to a life drawing session in january, 4 models
2x8 hours

And a quick fun sketch of one of my characters, I will continue
with learning the Riley side view now

I'm very behind on the next page, it's been a busy week

Now playing a game of how much can I make this eagle do with Jed's hair before he throws it off.

Latest sketch was inspired by chapter 8 of my webnovel, NULLED, it focuses on Landis and the neighbors cat, Beau getting friendly lol

Check out "Chapter 8 - Playground " from Nulled of Color and Sound on Tapas: https://tapas.io/episode/2941532

@Lensing @DanielRKM thank you! I finished it up and sent it to him today. I don't think my family super understands my art (I think with the exception of my cousin they're pretty stuck on realistic art or textile work) but I think he appreciated the thought behind it.

Riley method side view. I will do the back view tomorrow and then I will start repeating
all 3 views. I feel like this is very helpful for figure drawing, I had a lot of "yeah that´s it"
moments while practicing the rhythm lines

  • some sketches. I need one rich, old guy for a story I´m writing right now, I will probably
use the one on the left but I´ll do some more sketches before I´ll draw the comic

Came out so pretty and warm - definitely humming with the glow of a happy memory. Wishing the best for your grandpa’s surgery today.
