@nathanKmcwilliams wow - feels really heavy and uncomfortable - nice shoot angle for getting the grief across. :sweat_01:

@Kelheor straight to the heart for me, that expression. Beautiful!

@Enigma_the_Slimy_Boi That's so mesmerizing - love the gradient on each color, making it look very 3d.

@MerrowBros I want her whole outfit, but mostly the moccs, please :). These characters are so appealing - great shapes & colors.

There's been a few days where I need a reminder that I want to get out of bed so I can go draw - this is one of them - thanks for the help guys!

Thanks! I don't think it would look a tenth as good if I hadn't applied a gradient, so I'm glad you noticed!

Thank you. I slightly dread having to address this part in the comic when I eventually get to it. The character death really needs to mean something, and it's a difficult balance to hold between going too sappy or even too dark.
I think a lot of my work people equate with being cute. I want to show that I have more depth than that as an artist. It's important to have range.

I love how the hands look along with the curvature forms!

That's a clever project! Looks good

I love hypnotized rip

@migxmeg thanks ^^ Really tried to make it different from the original snake mama x)

@LCT_m_a_d thank you! Probably need to push it a bit more, glad it's something that is catching the eye!

@AfroAtelier ooooh, it really looks interesting :hushed:

Oh, I really dig those designs! So abstract, yet perfectly displaying their personality and element rather nicely!

The heart inside the Wind character actually looks like the logo from a game called Heartbound! I'm assuming that wasn't intentional lol.

Well, an article I read told me that drawing can help overcome writer's block. From the picture, it shows that I suck at drawing perspectives and distances of my characters fighting each other. Yes, they're fighting.

I just saw this thread right now and I happen to be drawing imperfectly. But it doesn't matter though. At least I know the next scenes or sentences to write in my novel. Hopefully, I can improve my artistic abilities during these COVID times. Anyways, thanks for putting up this thread for demotivated people like me. :heart_03:

melts omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg.... flings the full size file at me in pm on discord XD .. excuse me i need to go sqweeee omg

I like it!

That’s really interesting about overcoming writer’s block with drawing too.

I also have to mention that your handwriting is really nice. :+1:

@Kelheor It's definitely a good start. Maybe you could combine it with your perspective play to bring the form into focus.

intimidating and devious!

Work can be fun!
