Next Disney Movie and it is .... MOANA !!

Yesss SIRRRR one of the Disney movies I'll always remember :heart_03:

So I had difficulties of coming up with a pose with this digitally so I ended up drawing in traditional and then turned this drawing to digital again

I had a little problem with Te fiti which.. involved her having a teal skin color and then me trying to covering it by erasing it and adding green to it so heh....

Heres the digital I've traced on my phone

Thanks @Mallory 🏽, though drawing Te Ka is pretty difficult for me its a new and fun experience ngl :sweat_02: (not so used to drawing lava cracks so its a new :persevere:)

Heres the on going process of Te Fiti
I wanted to try somethin new while drawing digitally, trying that digital Painting, I did try to watch videos on "how to digitally Paint" but I can't sit and watch it for over like 8+ minutes :cry_02: (It was WAY Less but lets go with 8 :triumph:)
So I'm just winging it hah

The Tool I am using is called
Pen (Fade) 8.0 (but the sizes changes a lot so not exact).
Charcaol Tool
And a bunch of Flower Pens
App: IbisPaint X

Holy crap! I kid you not, the Gargoyles theme song was stuck in my head while I was sketching those! I think the way the wings cloaked Goliath was such a cool touch that I’m taking it. Just add it to the list of inspirations that keep popping up in my work (Sonic, X-Men, Gargoyles).

I cheated :joy: and expanded the image to make it as "vibrant color ready" as possible. The flowers, I'm hoping will add some organic pop to the composition which hopefully will work well for it's purpose.

@AfroAtelier sweet you dabbled in Autodesk and Zbrush too.
You meant Maya for the Autdesk 3d software, yea I studied Maya and Zbrush in University. Been loving Unity's Probuilder (free) and U-Modeler too. The unity interface feels close to Maya's for me also. II also forgot Autodesk has 3d studio max also, but never used that b4. There's one called Marvelous Designer which allows you to build garments almost like someone sewing it, if that 's something that may interest you too :womans_clothes:
Yep Daz wld be useful for practicing the 3d poses, and looking at scene lighting tutorials, even those for movies and photography is helpful for thinking in terms of 3d dynamic lighting.

Also awesome sketches, love the details in between the scales on the hands and arms  :crossed_swords:
Keep up the hard work!

channeled some emotions... not sure what they are but it felt nice to let out

will say i think i like the idea of them havin the pony at the back but feel i might just keep it to side profiles or whenever i want to have it there
