I like that you don't use black in the outlines of the drawing. I've thought about trying something like that in my work later on.

@ybarrolaemmanuel - Thank you! This is actually a first for me... Like I said so far all of my 20 pages of Engram took ~30 hrs per page, and it's a huge energy suck - especially when I have injuries that stop me from drawing more than a few hours. So I went into this with the explicit desire to see how quickly I can do it. I did not have an under sketch like I normally do, only the rough gestures, and the rest I figured out with the "line art" (which is really just a clean sketch in a dark color lol). Saved a ton of time (the other time saver is not really committing to backgrounds... *cries in three cityscapes that are all holding up Engram...).

Also I switched from using black outlines a few years ago and I honestly love it. The beauty of not using black is some other color can easily stand in for it when it's absent - but is way easier to shade! Which reminds me - I (almost) finished another muscle man!

ETA to avoid double-post: started on another muscle man. Some gesture studies. This is by far the most muscular man I will draw thus far in my life. You can see I don't even know where to start lol how do I draw non-waif dudes.

I have never read the manga but it looks like 2011 anime is doing all the justice to it. I mean, it's one of my faves ever and it looks absolutely gorgeous!

@migxmeg it's likely that HxH will never come off hiatus in it's manga form. So if you want a neatly wrapped story with a definite ending, you'll probably want to watch the anime instead of reading the manga. (Which pains me greatly to say, because the manga is really really good)

I've been burned by Togashi so many times XD I've been reading the manga long enough to have gone through THREE of his hiatuses.
This is partially why I can't pull the trigger on taking a break from my story. I don't want to put people through that (not that I'm on his level at all, because I'm not)

I like the 2nd and 3rd ones. the 2ne is easier to see, but the 3rd looks more mysterious, and i though fit the stary magic better.

Assignment 2 :3. I had no idea your one arm bone (radius) was actually crossing the other one (ulna) when you rotate your forearm HOLY CRAP WTF BODIES ><. Mig was unimpressed but personally my world was rocked.
