Thanks you so much! I've honestly been half debating on doing a drawing of Flare sitting on a fire Dragon each year to see how much I've grown as an artist each year. (Seeing as I've already kinda been doing that accidentally since 2019 for a while now actually.)

I'm excited to see where I go with this, especially with all the resources and art books I have that I'm planning on fully using this year. :slight_smile:

@nathanKmcwilliams

Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks! Actually revamping my comic atm, so I'll be posting more of these ref sheets (hopefully, 'cause I'm a slowpoke, lol) Also, amazing sketch! So full of life. :coffee_love:

@nathanKmcwilliams
Get well soon!

Say @migxmeg, what are the resources you use for the spine and body reference studies you've been posting recently if you don't mind me asking? I've been thinking of doing something similar to practice soon as well.

Of course! Here's the Youtube Playlist. I watch the videos there and then use the links in the description to go here, which is the course website,3 to get the specific assignments, but you could just do it all through the course website. The whole course isn't free but if you click on "LESSONS", you can see that there is a whole lot of course content that is.

The one tip I'd give is just check a handful of videos ahead before you do assignments - sometimes there is content to help you do them but it's included after the video with the downloads.

Ah, nice. Thank you. Coincidentally enough I was actually looking at some of Proko's stuff earlier today. I'll be sure to look into them deeper as well now that I have curated playlist now. :slight_smile:

Wrong image, got some feedback though when I get back to my desk :sweat_smile:

Okay cool, thanks. I eagerly await it. :slight_smile:

Edit: hope you don't mind drawovers :point_right::point_left:. Usually I wouldn't but for this kind of thing I think it's the most direct/potentially useful. Great studies btw - it's always a pain to do these "unfun" drawings but they're so helpful for the fun ones later :slight_smile:

The action folks probably have more high level tips but hopefully this helps out any!

Just gotta get on with the episode, so sketch today is for comic. Sorry I haven't been too talkative lately :confounded: but quietly appreciating this thread as always!

@aqua03 awesome stuff lately - seeing you pushing yourself is really inspiring! Keep up the great work :tapa_pop:.

@nathanKmcwilliams hope you're feeling better soon but also enjoying the chance to do some drawing :wink:.

@Kelheor urk, you too? Hope that energy comes back - sad boi is a great way to get rest XD.

Thanks! That is some really good feedback regarding my work. :slight_smile: Yeah, I gotta get used to doing more of the "unfun" work in general so I can improve in my more fun drawings later on as well. I'll keep working on pushing myself as well this year.

Cheers from the same boat! I need to hear more of this so I'm saying it but don't forget that your art already looks cool and you don't have to get used to doing anything :). But if it's exciting to add more tools to the kit or makes the fun stuff more fun then go get it!

Thanks! Yeah, that's something I need to keep in mind as well. That I'm already good enough, but I can keep getting better going forward with practice and putting my mind to it as well.

Kamen Rider Approved.

Ah, that's very well said. Great start of a year! :tapa_pop:

Not something I will be finishing this month maybe, because I already got quite a bunch of stuff on my plate. Really need to learn how to pace myself and finish more this year, this one including.
