I don't know what I was thinking with Erras' expression. You can't see it anyway.

I've finished painting the background (mountains) too, but I'll stop myself from spoiling everything.

@Legendofgenii thank you :3 the more hair the better. Everyone looks gorgeous today - I really love that pose of Bellah turning back that you sketched and I'm glad we get to see that face Erras is making that won't be visible in the comic hehe . Bet it looks great all together, can't wait!

@LCT_m_a_d You must have these 3d forms just living in your head and not drawing a single line that isn't representing those dimensions/perspective, looks really strong. I'd love to be able to absorb a bit, especially for the edges and wraps of fabric/clothes.

@Sethstiel oooo always fun to see how people approach magic effects - looks nice and glowy. I like your color scheme, feels really cohesive!

I erase ALOT. I'll get an occasional vision of a perspective I don't have the skills to do and build out what I can guess. Usually It's a lot of figuring out the underlying shapes piece by piece and readjusting them until they make some formal sense in the perspective. Since I don't have many creative character ideas I spend most of my art time re-imagining their forms until something naturally works. Unfortunately...I keep running into inconsistent proportions and styles lol

If it helps I'll try to add more fabric emphasis in my studies.

Ah, that's really cool! It's interesting to imagine the process from your description.

Don't change a thing!! Clothes/fabric/accessories/hair tend to be the forms on my figures where I feel like I have more freedom and control to choose having it fall or wrap in a way that helps define space but it doesn't matter that that's what they are. Viewing work that engages that part of my brain when I'm looking at how you placed your lines kicks it on for me and gives me ideas if that makes sense.

Sorry to share another one so soon, but I really liked the inspiration behind this one:
Y'see, the mascot of Pastoria City is Croagunk, and there's always been this odd little detail in the pokemart. A wooden carving of a Croagunk, apparently so realistic that "its looks like it might start seeping poison at any minute", it even showed up in the anime.

With that in mind, I set to work on creating shinies for these two that looked just as though they were carved from wood, the same way I had made bronze statues of Meditite and Medicham.

@migxmeg You definitely capture a scene exceptionally well between the wardrobe, lighting flow, and the setting. Each drawing seems like an organic moment out of a movie or storybook. It's funny, I actually create now for the sole reason that you mentioned. So what you say actually makes sense and it's quite an honor.

I had a couple of theories going into this drawing. I'll need to test a few more tries out.

@wispysing I'm so happy you guessed that. It's actually a Nubian goat but I think the horned references I referenced were from an ibex. (I didn't know what that was actually called). And Thank you so much!

Disney Erras would be telling him to flap his wings, not his arms.

I might change that left leg. It's bugging me.
