I think I have a pretty good hand drawing solution for you.
Your drawings look good so this will be no problem for you.

I use the "Handy art reference tool" when I have problems with hand
poses. I first browse the preset hands and then adjust the angle.
You can move the fingers and wrist in the app. Then I make a screenshot
and trace over the hands with a simple shape. Then I copy the simple
shape by drawing it freehand. Then I draw over the freehand shapes.
I do it that way because I don´t feel good about using traced over references
+ then I make sure to draw it in my style.

It´s really easy once you did it 20 times. This took me 8 minutes and I dislike
drawing hands like everyone else too

Some quick hand sketches to see if it works in different angles.
It makes sense to get good at that because AI is bad at it :stuck_out_tongue:

For real. I've tried practicing it in my notebooks and with mu comic and it just isn't working lol. I appreciate the advice so much.

Do you have a mirror or someone who can take a photo of you with that hand pose?

I still fuck them up too, but drawing hands doesn't get better by running away from the challenge.

I finished this one but my room became too dark so it’s not photographing well :sparkles::relieved: so you just get the unfinished version for now … also I’m sad AI art is associated with multiple extra fingers on hands now but Lady Lock does have an extra finger on each hand, she’s just polydactyl, my friends. Built different >:0

Was actually doing hand sketches earlier this week. Definitely helps to do these regularly because I have a bit of an easier time with them now. Shout out to Lefty for modeling.

I did 2 hours of line quality, circles and line drawing excercises today and I started a new
sketchbook for drawing hands with a pencil.

Here is some fast sketch I did in between

More practice sketches because I really like this new brush. Messy pencil brushes are so fun.

Lily Sinclair from my creation partner's comic "Chasing Lilies" but drawn in my cutesy style

Got a bit bored from my usual brush, so decided to make some sketches with a random pencil brush.

Had a lot of fun, hehe.

It's for CSP. Tried so many pencil ones, but this one has the best feel for sketching.

Long time no sketch post.
Been dealing with a big family emergency the past few weeks, so couldn't find the time.
Luckily, my mind is clearing up and I'm getting in a sketchy mood again.

Here we have a concept for "Odyssey" Zack, the theoretical sequel story to Trespasser. I don't know why, but I kinda explored this 90's boyband look haha

Sorry, because this is not really a sketch.
I´m doing my own hand reference library trying to break down hands into
simple steps. I´m sketching all of them daily with pencil in my sketchbook.
Maybe it will help me getting better, maybe not

More practice sketches. Really trying to sketch regularly this year and see if there's any improvement, lol.

I caught the mood last night before bed and finished the rest of the Final Fantasy 7 character sketches...

I only just now realized how yellow the pages in my sketchbook are.

You know, I don't want to sound too stealing, but the way you're drawing is inspiring me to work my heads closer the you make them.

Really thanks

I really recommend doing that, after a while I felt like I´m starting to see mistakes that
I didn´t see before. Placing eyes definitely gets easier

Okay, for serious now...

A bit more 1980s hair metal than intended but I think it works for him.

Look at how happy to be alive she is...

Some more mixed sketches even though I should be writing. :sweat_01:
