Been having the itch of a new story as of late (well, multiple, but one has jumped out above the rest!). So I did some exploratory sketches to research the idea. It's a dark mecha story, possibly in black and white.

Promised an artbook during inksgiving so now I'm making a cover for it. It's so much easier with a display tablet Still gotta fix some things but this took me like half the time it would with my other tablet.

Here is my sketch of technically yesterday since its 1am now but I was really proud of how it turned out. I was really slowly starting to understand what to look for when drawing. Also found an amazing video just now on 25 drawing practice steps split in 5 levels and it ends with comic drawing I was so stoked to find that it was a goldmine of info!
