Hey guys,
My name is Glenn and I'm helping @otterchild write reviews for the Strip Show Revue. I'm also trying to help build a bigger audience around our work. This forum post will be a digest version of our latest reviews on The Strip Show Revue's main site.
The reviews on our site are of a different nature. It doesn't necessarily answer the question: "should you read this comic?" But the review serves as critical feedback for the creators of those webcomics. What did they do well (Raves) and what needs improvement (Razzes). If you're a webcomic creator or interested in art or writing for webcomics, hopefully you'll find that information useful, and maybe, you'll find a new webcomic to fall in love with too.
If you want to get your comic reviewed please leave a comment here and we'll add you. We already have 167 comics to review and we are on 84. There's two of us, so as you can imagine it'll take a long time to get to you.
Please follow us on social media:
Follow us on Twitter: (@StripShowRevue)

If you like our work, and if we provide a decent service to the webcomics community, please share our work, read the those comics we reviewed, and tell your friends about it too.

Review Link: Sunday August 7th Review: Area 42 by Mike Podgor (@MikePodgor)
Comic URL: Area 42
"Area 42 is created by Mike Podgor and tells the story of Charleston Charge, an amateur paranormal investigator, and Subject M, an alien crashed on Earth. The two of them are thrown together (in side by side jail cells) and become fast friends discussing Godzilla movies and other fandom, and because of their rapport, they become apartment roommates in Area 42, which appears to be some kind of government experiment. From there, the story follows an unpredictable and increasingly surreal trajectory that vacillates between the mundane day-to-day and extraordinary moments that include fighting a succubus, demons, robots, and even a wizard."
Review Link: Saturday July 30th Review: Kila Ilo by Cassie Thomas
Comic URL: Kila Ilo
"Kila Ilo, the creation of Cassie Thomas, is an offbeat jaunt through science fiction. Imagine Lilo and Stitch written for adults, and throw in a little Torchwood for good measure. Then remove all the human protagonists and replace them with truly inhuman characters. Now you're getting the picture."

"I'm by no means an expert at using Twitter or social media, but I decided to start learning the ins-and-outs so I could leverage this tool better. I want to share what I learned with you in the hopes that it will give you a leg-up on how to use Twitter to better effect for your webcomic."
I don't know yet what cadence I'll do the digest at. Hopefully, weekly.
