@Noorie
You know, I feel like I could expand on the "attraction that has to do with fictional characters", as I mentioned it above, and I assume that's why you asked. I was just taken aback by the question for a moment, sorry. (Had to deal with weird questions a lot already, even coming from the lgbtqia+ community, so that might have played into it.)
The thing is, I mentioned that in my longer post above because, when reading stories, I immerse myself into them. I feel what the character feels, and I suppose that's the same for many of us. So when I mentioned feeling, uh, "reactions" in my body based on that, it has to do with the normal reactions one has when imagining sexual interaction. It's just that I only had those when reading steamy stuff and immersing myself, because that evoked feelings in me, in place of feelings I might have now in relation to my significant other.
I don't think it's too different from anyone reading anything, though. The difference was that that was the only time when I could feel anything even remotely reminiscent of sexual attraction within me. But that doesn't have anything to do with the optics or whatever of said fictional characters, but always with my emotional responses to them. Just like an emotional response to a real person. ^^
