Soo.. a bit nervous I am making a big announcement this week for my comic and I don't know how my readers will take it...

The announcement if you're wondering...

I will be going on an indefinite hiatus as I will be moving across the country in October and I don't know how long it will take to get back on my feet. My comic is the first long term project I've stayed with/ had some success with and I don't know how the hiatus will effect it.

seriously if they hate you for moving, shame on them. hiatus's happen.

I know weeks ago I ripped really hard on the Teahouse comic team, but let me reiterate my point from that - they never really were clear about their hiatuses, small areas of the internet were aware if there were any, it was due to medical reasons, and they left their readers with absolutely no communication regarding their decisions to shut down vs downsizing the comic, or getting their input.

My point is keep being honest and open with your readers and even if you're on a long break, if you can manage 1 page every few weeks or something as time progresses and you settle in, or at least keep them updated during the hiatus some other way - that's entirely acceptable

:edit also eyyyyyy ive had 5hrs of sleep and been up for 22, and now 23 hrs, sooooooo dont mind if i sound stupid.

Fair enough - yes I do plan to let them know why I will be be going on hiatus - and that at this point I don't have a clear date for coming back, but I definitely want to keep my readers updated. So I guess, yes the most important thing is being honest and keeping communication open.

I would still link individual social medias if wherever I'm posting them allows for it, like the episode descriptions here on Tap. I think direct links are always the best bet.
BUT linktree is quite useful if the site has a limit for how many links you can have! Like instagram for example, you can only have one link in your profile, similarly with twitter.

Why romances with CEO have come into fashion recently? Why all heroines are secretly so eager to open their legs for these guys, and even if firstly they blush and say "ah, no, no, mr.CEO, please, stop", this "no-no" so quickly turns into "yes-yes"?
Which status effects, which buffs or perks their dicks give, so all girls are so eager to put them into their bodies? Should it make you happy, or wealthy, or cure all of your diseases, like a panacea? ...or maybe these magical sticks just.. provide you a promotion at work?..

Don't know about "no-no-yes-yes" thing, probably to hold onto some dignity by showing that you are no THAT accessible. But the whole CEO thing is totally not strange. It is basically a modern equivalent of medieval kings and princes. The girls in these types stories always go for a dominant, able and confidant male character. All these traits are signature of a person who leads a large body of people.
Also, maybe magic dicks IDK...

Anyway, you are too rational. In my opinion, the version about magic dicks is much more interesting.
