this is interesting because while i usually default to killing any spiders i see there's a group of em that i've spared since they've been keeping the ants in check. they're the only ones i've let slide too because most other (save for a sneaky one) have just gotten the literal boot.

the only time i screaming is if it's got a thick body or distinct set of colors like these big black and/or yellow ones i've seen or the also relatively large brown ones. luckily they've remained out of doors so i've yet to have reason to panic. if they do come in it'll be a disco

It really depends on what kind of spider it is. If it’s venomous you can bet I’m getting rid of it, but if it’s just a normal spider I tend to just ignore it since it’s not gonna live for very long anyways.

What did spiders ever do to people? They're nature's pest control. The majority are non-venomous, and usually mind their own business near the ceiling.

If it's brightly colored, I'm gonna suspect it's dangerous. Otherwise, the spider can chill as long as it wants.

Spiders are okay in my book. House lizards on the other hand...

They all must die.

I moved into a place and got bit between the fingers by a brown recluse while I was sleep at night. I had to spend all New Years Eve at the hospital because my hand had swollen up and was paining like a MFer(it was REALLY COLD that particular year and the temps had dropped below 20 degrees when I left the hospital at midnight).

Some years later, I had moved to a new place...got bit between the toes by another one. Went the whole weekend wondering why my toe area was hurting; discovered the area the following Monday after I had stepped out the shower.

You forgot: welcome it!

I keep all my spiders, unless they are really dangerous, in which case I would gently pick them up with a small container and release them outside. But there are very few dangerous spiders where I live, only a very, very few black widows.

I usually leave them alone. I actually like spiders, because they eat the crawlies that I don't like, INSECTS. Bloody insects eat my clothes, leaving little holes, and spiders don't.

There's always a spider in my room because I have a pet tarantula lmaooooo
what's up with this disrespect. they're beautiful creatures :(((

you better be nice from now on because shes watching

I’m merciful and always try and release them. If I can’t catch it then it has to pay rent.

Spirers. They are nice creatures that eat other insects that are really annoying.

Now, Cockroaches are monsters from hell. They should erased from the face of earth.

Anyway my cats are in charge of the job. So I feel safe.

I only kill spiders if they’re in my territory. So if they’re in my house, they’ve spun their last web. If they’re outside, they’re good to go. I find spiders fascinating but freaky at the same time. Which reminds me...last night I had a freaky dream about ping pong ball sized spiders dangling over my head, and they had long disgusting legs. The only way to get where I was trying to go, was to walk underneath them.

Sorry, but when its comes to eight legged beasts I become a damsel in distress. SOMEBODY SAVE ME!!!! I cant kill them, because I fear that its spider brethren, will want get revenge and I'd be attacked by a spider gang.
TBH I'd rather just move out and change rooms. Like, "hey Mr Spider you want this room? It's okay, you can have it. I don't need it :worried:

I remember when I was 18 and there was a spider on the main door of our house, yea.. I went to go sleep next door. I'm not going to challenge a spider for entry into a house that it has claimed. no no nope.

Add me to the list! I HATE ROACHES!

Me: sees spider Oof! You startled me! Hmm...maybe you would be better outside. There you go. Buh Bye now.

Also Me: sees a roach...This place is tainted with heresy. There is no Hope here.

It depends a lot of the kind of spider. Poisonous ones like the chilean recluse spider get a quick death for the sake of safety. The chill ones that eat the poisonous ones are "paying rent" by eating the treats to me and family.

So......does that makes me a spider pragmatist????????
