Too much 'like'?

I tend to overthink stuff which most often than not hinders me in doing things. Recently, I've just read about someone being uncomfortable for getting comments from the same person in their comic: and it got me thinking: 'Am I clicking on the like-button too much'? I know it notifies the artist and such and I'm the type to click the like-button immediately if it is something that I like (and it's honestly too easy pleasing me.)

I don't know, guys- because honestly I'm just here like--

What do you feel about this? Is it uncomfortable?

I'm perfectly fine if someone goes through and likes every episode, it will help bump up the series to the trending section.

Oh, that's a way to look at it. Hopefully, more feels the same as you. I know it seems silly worrying about this but I'd like to know that it's not annoying to people at least, haha!

Sometimes I'll have people go through my whole comic and like a bunch of pages and it doesn't bother me at all. It's kind of fun to see a bunch of new notifications.

Naw, I like just about every page of a comic when I'm reading when I like it and when I REALLY like i comment as well. I know personally I enjoy it when I get tons of like through out my comic at least it feels like i'm doing something right, of course I love it even more when I get comments bc, I guess at least for me, it means the reader cared enough/liked it enough to stop think and write something.

Yeah usually I give out tons of likes, and in turn expect certain people to like each comic I put. (at this point if they don't it's a red flag.)

Oh no, there's no such thing as too much 'like' in my book! I don't mind. I see it as a form of encouragement and positive feedback!

Well, if people didn't want to get 'Likes', then they shouldn't be putting their comic on the internet of all places.

Oh I've been wondering about the same things recently. Because I always tend to like each and every single page of every comic I read, first because I like it (or else I wouldn't be reading it) and then it's also my own way of supporting the artist as I can't possibly support all of them (if I could I would though). I also use that as a way to know if I read the page or not.

There's nothing like 'too much like'. I love getting them on pages, and love when suddenly there are lots of notifications because someone discovered my comic and clicked like on almost every page. At least I know that person cared to read it CX

Pretty sure likes are always meant to be a good thing, I don't think they're meant to mean anything other than someone likes and is willing to support your work, and clicking the like button is a small thing they can do to show the artist that.
(it's more so them giving all these likes wrapped in a present to the artist rather than throwing it at them.)

I like to get "likes" and comments it reassures me that I am doing a good job. It also helps with my confidence in my abilities.

Liking in general is not bad because it in turn doesn't require the artist to sift through them individually.

Oh yes, exactly!
Whenever reading a new comic and really enjoying it, I like every page in the hope that it will somehow help it appear in the trending section.
It's a way to say to the author "hey, you've got a new reader there, I just went through your whole story and it was great" + trying to be useful to them and help them get more attention.

Agreed. No such thing as too much like. I know this may not mean a lot from someone who only just started creating a webcomic, but I get giddy everytime I get a notification that one or more of my pages was 'liked'.
