I'm writing at least one short story every month
As well as doing 6 collaborations cause I just can't say no ><
...not that I really tried, considering I keep putting up new ideas out there XXD

I have far more on my plate than I'd like to admit, and I can literally hear the annoyed sigh of my watchers at DA when I drop new series/AU ideas out there every now and then, it starts to get confusing :'D

I have a single ongoing comic that I update once a week, and when I added a short comic I was drawing for a fanzine on top of that, I thought I was going to die, so I'm... really impressed. I definitely can't do more than one art project at a time and have any sort of life outside drawing.

Oh, don't worry, I just work on them randomly. Only 3 of them are updated regularly, in which the rest is on small hiatus, until I decide to switch the queue. Each comic/novel has a different mood, perfect to work on when that certain mood hits me. Halloween is coming, so I'll probably focus on my horrors soon X3

And I have to admit that I envy people who have the patience to work on only one project for years, you guys are amazing O: (and you get the thing done in one lifetime, I'll probably need 200 years to finish my stuff)

...and I'm planning a second one at the moment. All others aren't ripe to be drawn yet XD
But the main problem is actually the rest of my RL XD Studying, making money (btw, anyone interested in a German print version of Vol. 1 of Remember? =P ), housework...

I'm glad to hear that =) Not that you don't have any time either, but to hear that I'm not alone with that problem! Makes it easier to go on by knowing that others have similar problems =)

I only work on one comic right now, though I'm in the planning process of a second collab comic with my friend.

I wouldn't be so overwhelmed if I could stick with one style of coloring, specifically. I always say "Okay, keep it like this. Nice and simple..." Then I actually continue coloring the page, and add more and more detail. Then I get frustrated, cause I think "Well....crap. Now I have to make all the pages after this have this much detail..." And well...it just keeps going like that, basically. haha.

Whenever I get a buffer, I eat it up, cause I worked myself to death to get the buffer and end up taking too long of a break. HAHA. I'm the worst.

It's so cool when you have buffer but I personally tend to lean back a little too long However, I'm trying to change that aspect right now while working continually on the next pages

Well...I have like half a buffer?? I don't have completely finished pages, but I have the drawings and base coloring done. So I just need to add shading/detail/backgrounds and speech bubbles. So I still have half the work to do...but at least they're all formatted and stuff.

(Though, tbh, the drawing part is the part I like the most, I find the rest kind of tiring half the time.)

The only reason I can do as many stories as I am now is because I'm just the writer. It's all thanks to the wonderful artists I collaborate with that I'm able to make my dreams come true <3

In general, I have way too much on my plate. I looked at my to-do list, and I wanted to scream.

So far, I have to do the below this weekend:
- Update my blog
- Finish an ARC review
- Write a new horror short story for Tapas and Writing.com
- Finish a work writing project
- Do reviews for Writing.com
- Start working on stories for submissions
- Get my Technical Writing portfolio done
- Commission an artists for my LFAA characters

Yep...just so busy, but I was able to update all my stories before the long weekend, so that made me happy =)

I feel you guys. I've got the full-time job/mom thing happening, plus working on 1 current series and developing about 5 upcoming comic series.

Then there's all the other stuff that goes with my "fine art" freelance career: social media, maintaining a portfolio site, updating shirt&apparel sites a couple times a week and promoting those on shirt aggregators, and making/prepping new art for art shows (then writing press releases, printing up and distributing flyers around town, etc for those shows) as well as doing freelance gigs for clients. I also frequently try to do Instagram stuff like drawloween, etc etc

I'm in the process of getting it all into a spreadsheet or list or I don't even know what, but my phone calender is always just a solid block of color because every single minute of my day is planned to keep up with all this baloney.

Ahahaha AYAKA is the only series i have but boy is it taking up my time lololol. I basically have to do it alongside my school requirements leaving me little time to myself and I'm not so updated with my favorite animes anymore

I was a job ho when I started here, and said yes to too many people. Now I have one comic in production, another getting ready for production, and a short comic all on top of polishing my own comic. XD I'm also looking for a full-time art job.

But I love all these projects, so I juggle them as best I can!

Too much sometimes. I feel like giving up sometimes, due to how expensive it is, and it's relative low engagement, and the fact that I still have 9-12 more chapters to produce before I finish this first book. It seems very daunting.

But I'm still going to keep trudging on, until the comic's complete. I use the hiker metaphor to keep myself motivated.
Even though the top of the mountain is out of sight, I'm already pretty high up from the base. Too far up to just give up and go back down. I'll keep going until I'm at the top, and I'll probably feel extremely accomplished when I do so.

Until then, I'll just keep trudging on. Even if it kills me.
