I'm trying to create my series and am having trouble uploading a book cover it keeps telling me to check the images ratio, i have no clue what this means or what it wants me to do.any help id greatly appreaciatedupdate: i managed to upload my cover, thanks to the people that replied
The image has to be 960 pixels wide and 1440 pixels tall for a cover.
mine is but it keeps telling me to check the ratio
You should be able to check the pixel size/image size in the drawing program you're using. It should be under edit.
If your image is the correct ratio (960x1440) but it’s still saying that you might have to save it at a lower quality or different file format (IE png instead of JPG). The file might be too large
it needs to be a jpeg?i thought it was okay being a png
PNG is fine (I think, I don’t remember) but if you’ve saved it at too high a quality it might be rejecting it because of that
i managed to get it uploaded thank you so much for the help
What was the issue? Just in case others have the same problem
Hey, Can you share how you fixed the problem? I have the same issue, and when it stops showing "ratio error", it says: "the format is too small".If you can help, it would be really appreciated
For those still having the ratio issue:Try having the canvas size at 1920 px by 2880 px and then exporting at 50% (the result will be 960 x 1440)Not sure why, but this worked for me
i think it was exported at too high a quality so i put it on a smaller canvas
i think i saved it at too high a quality so i just put it on the canvas size recommended for covers by tapas
