It says in the content guidelines that tapas allows amounts of non-sexual nudity for artistic purposes, but what about scenes that are sexual but don't contain nudity?
There's a certain sexual scene I'm planning that is very important to my story, and I plan to display it in a way that makes the sexual part obvious without showing any genitals/nudity. Does anyone have information about this?

I think as long as you tag it mature and don't show anything, it should be fine.

Sounds exactly like something that is allowed, but should be marked as mature.

@joannekwan I actually had a question about that. A friend of mine is making a mature comic with sex scenes and they said they're only going to draw breasts showing. Would those have to be blurred out? They're a bit nervous to put the comic on Tapas, afriad of it being removed.

Regardless of whether its during a sex scene or not, bare female nipples would have to be behind the mature tag no matter what. But they are fine uncensored so long as the mature tag is active.

Remember! Tapas allows content that some technology platforms ban.

Apple might simply hide your tapas content on Apple devices, if you push too far.

Just as a note:
The app stores, particularly Apple I think, take depictions of pubic hair much more seriously than nipples.
I suppose it's because anatomically they are much closer to human genitalia on the body. So any depictions of pubic hair on a naked body needs to be censored even behind a mature tag if you want your series to be searchable on the Tapas app.
