Thought this was an idea that other illustrators might like. It's especially helpful for backgrounds.
I've also used the open world game Sleeping Dogs for city references.

I do this all the time. I would link you pictures if i didnt play sims and have all my pics on a separate computer :v

I've kind of learned a thing or two about designing rooms from the Sims myself. XD Using it as a reference is a good idea.

Actually that is kind of clever.
I did this for my indoor scenes. It's actually pretty relaxing because I get really stressed out when things aren't perfect.
Also, I built my character's entire house in the Sims so I will always have a reference for it at any angle I want!
I remember I did this with one of my old comics a few years ago. It definitely is helpful for indoor environments.
