Wacom Cintiq 13HD

Hi!

Lately I feel like my trusty 10+ year old tablet is finally on the verge of retirement.
So I'm thinking of buying a Wacom Cintiq 13HD.

But, I'm worried about the pentip to screen distance. I can't find any info on that through google. Does anyone know how big this distance/gap is?
Does it take long to get used to a Cintiq? Any pros and cons maybe? ^-^

I switched from a Wacom Intuos to a 13hd just a few years ago. The distance between pen and screen isn't that big and I found it easy to get use to. It was a little awkward for me to actually work on screen but after like a month of using it I never wanted to go back to the old school intuos xDD
The only con I have that you may or may not have with is that sensitive as hell 3 in 1 wire cable. You move it just a little and the screen freaks out ;U It's hard to get a new one cuz guess what Wacom doesn't have any. Hopefully they have some now but each year I checked before they never did. Other than that though, it's a good tablet! You'll definitely love it!~^^b

Oohhh yeah I hate the 3 in 1 cable, that is the only thing I've found about it that just sucks X_X.

But as Tanisha said the distance from pen to screen really isn't that big, plus the system makes you adjust where on the screen the cursor is in accordance to your stylus so you can figure out which positioning you're more comfortable with.

Just gonna hop in here for you Lucazu and say that what Tanisha here said only applies to wacom users in the US. It's the american wacom that refuses to keep 3 in 1 cables in stock. Since you are in europe, Lucazu, you will most likely not run into this problem.
If the 3 in 1 cable breaks, just look around at redistributors in your country. If it's not there, check distributors in nearby countries. If not, you can just shoot me a message and I'll see if I can help you. I know I've been able to get my hands on the replacement cable I am using this very moment in Sweden.

Now apparantly I also recieved a 3 in 1 cable, and I agree, it's annoying. But everything is cool xD I'm happy with this tablet although it's gonna take a while to get used to it I think. I feel like I'm drawing so slow now haha

I just got mine and i set it up and everything and boy, i am not a happy camper. the pen has a lag to it and it's driving me nuts. I even turned off the "Touch off", to see if that helps and it didn't sadly. when i use to have the intous pro i had the same problem untill i turned off the touch and blutooth and it worked just fine. the distance isn't as bad but im really hoping there is a solution to this either from Apple or Wacom because this sucks.

There might be a driver issue or maybe you have stabilization set too high? Mine has no lag at all, only if stabilization is too high.

I'm honestly surprised about the prior complaints on the cord. I have never had an issue with my cord. The only issues I've had have been driver-related issues where I sometimes have to turn it on/off to get it to work and reload my settings.

It will also sometimes lag on the first stroke after I save in CSP. Weird, but now I've gotten used to just doing a random stroke after I save to get rid of it.
