Are you using Creative Cloud? If so, this is a Photoshop issue. This has been on-going for quite a while since they made one of their updates a while back. They have claimed to have fixed it, but I'm still having a lot of weird buggy issues. You are definitely not alone.

dang yea its really frustrating and at this point I am losing my mind over it. it's almost impossible to get anything done. I reached out to Wacom and they claim it could be my pen. since I'm still under warranty they want to switch it out to see if it helps. I honestly don't mind. worst case scenario it doesn't work but at least I get a new stylus.

Yes it's very frustrating--I've been having this problem with Photoshop 2020, but when I use Photoshop 2019, it's not happening. So, I'm just using 2019 until Adobe gets their act together (this problem was probably stalled by Covid but even still...it's 2021 in just a few months)

a lot of wacom comes with a free version of clip studio paint so you could redeem it. the older versions i think the license is a permanent one.

yea this is what I almost canceled my payment plan because all this stupid games they be playing and it's not like its cheap. I just hate the fact that all I know is PS. I seriously need to learn another program.

I know but unfortunately, PS is all I know. I tried SAI but I got frustrated due to lack of shortcuts which is a "MUST", in the digital world. :blank: at some point I just gave up

Yeah, I feel you, I really do. I looove the program of photoshop, hate the company. You should be able to just download 2019 if you're on the subscription plan. It might work for you.

(it's called version 20.0.10 on the Creative Cloud app)

But what happened is pretty technical--in 2020 they decided to change a lot of how the intuos works with windows--do you have windows too by any chance?

I have an old wacom tablet intuos CTL-480 and I've never come across this kind of issue before. I mean very rarely the pressure won't work at all so it is as if I am drawing using a mouse but I just need to wait a few seconds before it works like usual.

OMG I had no idea I could download an older version. geez I will defiantly try it out and see if that helps because this is really really frustrating. I saw they had an update and I went on ahead and installed the update but it's just as useless so I don't eve know why they updated it if the same S*** is still happening.

I will go ahead and downgrade and see if that helps. I'm just tired of having to rearrange things again because I like to have things set up a certain way :smug_01:

lucky you lol. I couldn't deal with the older models. if yours works well there is no reason to upgrade however the downfall is that eventually they will stop making parts and drivers if they haven't even stopped and then it will be hard to get things like nibs.
