@tenguharley Ok, time for doggos.
For the most part, this one is pretty legible. The only major problem for me is that it's hard for me to tell apart the dogs. Their different markings and hairstyles help a great deal (especially on the mother who has different colored stripes), but I am still struggling a bit since it's black and white and everyone has stripes. I like that the main character wears a necklace when in puppo form. It's easy to spot him. If there were more jewelry pieces, that might help me out since most of their silhouettes are very similar.
The rest of my notes were pretty minor:
-In ch 1 the phrase "long forgotten by agony" and "long forsaken by innocence" in this context didn't fully make sense to me. It's poetic anyway, so it doesn't need a clear answer, but I had to wrap my head around the meaning of those words together and it didn't fully come together. Also in the same panel is "to ill all that is pure" a typo of kill? Again it's so poetic I'm not sure if it's literally ill or a mistake, especially since ill is used later as "illful sins"
-when the dog says "the murals here show their alliance with us, the hybrids, humans, and the prophets" is the dog referring to herself and her people as a hybrid (like saying "us, the hybrids") or is she just listing different species?
-In page 32 You can go two different directions after the panel "Maybe even more than what I've realized" and in manga style you follow the gutter and move down, but a westerner like me will read left to right always, so I did read this out of order although I was warned it's Manga ahead of time. I think because there are three panels to the right of that two panel stack, and other times you had me read downward, there was only one panel to the right so it was a lot harder to make that mistake.
-In page 37 I read the bubbles out of order on the 4th panel because the centaur's staff directs my eye directly to that second bubble there, but this could also be because I'm used to western reading styles and I haven't gotten into the groove of manga reading (it always takes me a little bit despite how much manga style reading I've read)
-On page 52 in that last panel where it reads "which these other beasts have" I figured at first she was talking about all other species that aren't dogs in general, and then I realized--oh, she's actually referring to the other dog people who are currently taking the test in this flashback.
-Not sure what the last panel on 69 is. It looks cool.
-the two directions you can go from panel 4 on 84 got me again.
-I'm not sure how packs work, so when on 85 that guy talks about how the omegas are shaken up with the matters of their parents, I'm not sure who their parents are.
-you got some simple grammar issues throughout--it's still readable and legible, but you may want to give it a second pass through just looking at grammar.
-on page 115 I didn't catch that the dog latched on the back of the deer's neck in the second panel, I just figured the deer had a fuzzy tail from that perspective.
-I also thought the second to last panel on page 115 was our same character because I struggle with the difference between dogs, but I did catch the lack of necklace eventually.
-on page 148 I don't get why the shopkeeper is sighing.
And that's it.
