Hey, fellow refugees. I'm not planning to drop out of Wattpad just yet, but I've already started moving here back in March, starting with my ONC novella because I wanted to start with something that was complete.
I'm moving my main book here now too. I was going to wait until I was finished but looking at the chaos going on at Wattpad, I see no reason to keep it there exclusively.
I have a bunch of short stories that I'm considering moving here as well, but I want to find out more how Tapas writers handle collections, what reader preferences are for them, etc. Any one of you had success with short story collections?
Tapas is a little quirky. What I write is a lot of quirky. We're a perfect match!

Book Title: The Merlin Paradox
Genre: Arcanepunk fantasy (magitech), slow-burn boy x boy subplot
Blurb/summary: Magically stripped of his memories and aged down to his teens, Merlin is on the run. Being a half-demon makes him a lower-class citizen and an easy suspect in his own missing person’s case. Being half-blind makes him easy to catch.
The perfect person to hide him from the law is a lonely, winged boy, Seri, who gladly shares his secluded safe haven with this alluring stranger.
Having only each other for company, the adventurous amnesiac and his cautious host can offer each other what the other needs. But while they're hiding out, consequences of Merlin's disappearance begin unfolding. The fate of the entire city relies on his memory.

Book Title: DragonSky - Completed
Genre: High-fantasy with skypunk
Blurb/summary: What are wings for if not for flying with dragons in the realm where islands float in the sky?
The life of order and monotony is not enough for a winged demon like Ansgarde. When society rules suffocate her, she escapes to fantastic dreams of dragons and epic quests.
If only someone qualified took on the challenge to break the Dragon's Curse, her dream would come true - she would share the sky with a dragon. After all, the prophecy says that a demon like her would free the ancient race. But no one takes the legend seriously. No one but her.
