@DualDragons That's fair! Old Naota will be in our hearts forever. After all, he had a killer design, it's just I thought that with a certain character coming down the line, the comic would benefit marketing wise if they both had the same artstyle. I WILL SAY tho, this won't be the end of Classic Naota. I do plan on integrating him in plotpoints sorta like how we took away human Naota's hair during the dodgeball arc (which btw, OH MY GOD THAT WAS HUGE UNINTENTIONAL FORESHADOWING THERE OML HOW AM I NOW JUST REALIZING THAT LMAO. Like how Naota sees himself in a different aesthetic. He has a habit of changing what the world looks around him.)
@Kelheor Yep!!! You pretty much nailed it on the head lol. The change just isn't for aesthetic reasons, there's also a metaphorical reason behind it. Naota's arc after this is a little more of him brooding and him finding a place in the multiverse. The whole adventure after this is him soul searching, finding worth, and understanding what it means to love :v
@JaveCraze OOOOH PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR REACTION WHEN YOU EVENTUALLY GET TO THE REVEAL. Would love to hear your thoughts on how it develops c:
@candiedcotton @11keys Yeh, I guess I should've stated that this aesthetic matches up with the more tortured arc he'll be going through throughout the series.
