Weapons with an elemental 'feel'

I'm wary of starting another suggestion topic, especially for something like weapons...but even if all I get outta this is some new springboards for Wikipedia surfing, I think it'll be worth it.

So my latest fantasy series is centered, design-wise, around characters with different elemental themes (factions). And each faction has its own traditional weaponry, which I choose thematically. So the faction of the moon has things like bow+arrows and curved blades, because of the whole 'crescent moon' visual, y'know?

The weapons don't have to be real, though. For the faction of light, I just made up these hollow weapons that are designed to look like fancy repurposed torches/lanterns: Here's an example of what I mean (the angle isn't the best to show off that hollow aspect, but you get it).

So that's the sitch...my problem is that there are some factions I haven't been able to come up with things for:

Air: All I have in my files is 'fans'...I guess like giant anime fighting fans? I'm not really satisfied with this.
Water: Drawing a COMPLETE blank. Before I gave them watering cans, but now that the way fighting works is less magic and more actual martial arts, it no longer makes sense. But there has to be some kind of weapon that says 'water'...oars, maybe?
Mind: Yes, there is a faction full of people with mental abilities...the only weapon I have for them is 'umbrellas', which I'm kinda fine with, but I also think I could do better.

There are also factions that are pretty much covered, but I'm still open to ideas:

Earth: Because of the way they look, all I can think of to give them are wooden mallets. ^^; I could live with that, but I'd prefer to at least have something more closely associated with actual rocks as an option. Is there some kind of tool that's in between 'battle axe' and 'pickaxe' in appearance? Something like that would be good...
Darkness: They have scythes, surprise, surprise. :^P But a secondary, less stereotypical weapon would be nice.
Fire: For the longest time, I couldn't come up with anything for them, but recently I had the idea to give them made-up weapons that look like giant pokers, y'know:

I love how alien they look~. But, again, a secondary weapon idea would be nice.

I'll take a whack at the first two.
Air:
What about like...a wind turbine, or the fan off the back of a hi speed fan boat? Those things can do major damage. Or possibly an air rifle?

Water:
Uh...a rubber garden hose? XD or maybe a pressure washer wand? Or a straight up harpoon?

Air: Fuma Shurikens. Giant shurikens that resembles the blades of a ceiling fan.

Water: Chained anchors. Great for close to medium ranges.

Mind: I honestly can't think of anything logical. But the best thing that comes to mind are instruments. Preferably ones that can be played while moving. Sax, Violin, Guitar, Drums, Flute, etc.

Earth: You can go the stereotypical route and choose the Warhammer. But another weapon that comes to mind when I think of "Earth" is a Kanabo.

Darkness: Scissors. Both oversized ones and normal ones. I just got done reading a manga called "Record of Ragnarok" for the second time. And a certain "dark" character uses scissors as a weapon. And honestly, scissors fit the darkness element so well IMO.

Fire: Candlesticks/Matchsticks. A perfect pole like weapon that can burn people using the lit tips.

Water: Instantly, I think of Poseidon's trident, which is a three-pointed spear.

Mind: Marionette Control Bar. The way I see it, peering into someone's mind is more or less taking some form of agency from them (whether that's mind control, memories, or listening to their thoughts). For a Marionette, their mind is the puppet master, who controls their movements. You could probably design it in a way that has the strings chase after its opponents and connects to them:

Fire: Fire Arrows. An actual weaponry used in battle. If it's elemental, you could make it where the supple is endless.

For Fire, you could have a secondary weapon be a version of a soldering iron.

For Air, you can use a Bo staff and/or a double sided sword (not to be confused with a double-edged sword)

For Water, probably a whip as for a fluid motion and probs nun-chuks to emulate water being into contact quickly would be the equivalent of concrete.

For that question for a cool weapon for the Earth faction.....a paxel (made up tool) or a Mattock (a rea life tool)

Secondary weapon for Darkness could be hidden wrist blades

The weapon for the Mind cards and/or books

For Earth, you could do gauntlets and boots and stuff for melee combat. Heck, you could even do the Bionicle route and have the Earth characters use claws and drills so they can mine with that equipment when not in combat. (Or just have all weapons have a double function as well. Like maybe a type of cloak that can be used as both a whip and a glider for Air? Or a helmet for Mind that can be used for headbutts and enhance psionic abilities. Just spitballing here.)

I love the fire pokers as a polearm! Maybe you could have them dual-sided, so they can twirl them like a fire-twirler twirls their stick? That always looks incredible. (I live in a rather hippie-ish area, I see fire-twirlers on the regular.)

Air: Shurikens are a good idea. Also, boomerangs. And I like the idea of fencing foils, or any really light, swishy sword which moves fast.

Water: Yeah, someone else said tridents. Tridents scream water.

Mind: Maybe the weapons are just an illusion? One which changes form depending on what the wielder needs in battle?

Earth: Giant metal hammers, as tall or taller than the wielder, which shake and split the ground when they strike. Bonus points if the littlest character has the biggest hammer.

Darkness: Maybe a whip, which can snake out of the darkness and pull people into it?

Lots of good suggestions I've seen! Here are some of mine similar to what has already been said!

Air: Chakrmas - like boomerang circular blades. Axel from kingdom hearts has something similar.

Water: Like everyone pretty much said a trident - or even a hammer-like weapon with an anchor as a top.

Mind: Maybe some type of hypnosis crown or headgear? Something that boosts brain power and telekinetic powers?

Earth: Gauntlets on the hands and feet. They are a bit more like reinforcements for increased brute strength and grounding. Below is 'ground style' from a Megaman game and you can see the reinforced hands and feet. These could also used for gripping and punching through earth.

Darkness I like the scythe idea for darkness - also maybe some type of magical cloaks with them that let them phase in and out of shadows like a teleporting device?

Fire: I like the weapons you have picked out!

Okay... as for elements. You may use traditional dance culture fir references.

Some of their dance equipment might be good for refs.

for examples:
Air you could use "selendang" (I don't know the English word for it). it's basically a piece of cloth tied on the body then sway it around, in some Shoutheast Asian legends, Goddess use selendang to fly and losing it means losing all of their God-like power.

Or take traditional Asian weapon like Karambit. the weapon is a iron claw, a little bigger than a thumb.

for earth, how about a shovel? i haven't played shovel knight, but i'm pretty sure it proves you can use a shovel as a weapon. maybe it can function like an axe or spear?
a drill could probably also work.
for psychic, how about a weapon they command with telekinesis? like Orbitars from Kid Icarus Uprising, which are these little orbs that float around you and shoot at your enemies. they look like they're drones, but you're commanding them with your mind. though, that might fit the lamp weapon you were talking about.
