Webtoon supports PNG now!

i'll test this out once my next episode is ready but! it's finally here for canvas creators!

i've had it with how awfully deep fried the final upload usually looks like, especially on app.
i hope this fixes this issue.

I might sound stupid but what are the benefits of PNG if I want to render my series in that format?

PNG provides better quality images that are crisp and sharp to the eye, JPG/JPEG compresses the images and sometimes add noise. Noise can be truly visible if you use highly saturated colors for webtoon.
