People say BL or GL get the most attention, but i wonder, what are other genres that are successful? Since i don't think i will make any romance heavy comics, i want to know some alternatives?

I think romance in general get attention (BL mostly because is branch of this genre) Then the "easy to read" slice of life comics about relatable things in life. For me is the best shot if you want to get big.
Romance, comedy, and slice-of-life tend to dominate the "popular" section, but a lot of the most successful webcomics I can think of are fantasy/use fantasy elements. Though that's a pretty broad genre, so I guess that's not too surprising, lol.

Almost entirely sure dubstep is the most popular genre in any medium..

If you attempt to emulate popular works your results will invariably be lesser imitations. A work you are passionate about will be of a higher quality.
People can TELL when you’re writing something you don’t care about. Any work in any genre can be massively popular if it’s good. You might as well write what you’re deeply interested in and making that work.
Otherwise it will absolutely bite you in the ass when you want to do a story you actually want to do and then your audience that you may have already built (though unlikely) out of trying to gain a mass audience will be totally uninterested.
The reason i asked is that i wanted to know if there's a genre that I'd like to write, where its also popular. I think I'll go with fantasy since that what I'd love to work on.
From my observations, the most popular are:
Romance, Comedy, BL, "Relatable" comics on Tapas.Romance, Comedy, Superhero, Action and Horror comics - on Webtoons.
But I can mistake, because I didn't research this topic seriously. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I agree here. I’ve noticed a lot of popularity with Romance (BL and GL included), and Slice of Life. Personally I love a good Drama too.
Comic strips with non linear self contained stories are a nice gem you can find in between Comedy and slice of life. But 100% BL owns the front page like Shang Tsung has your soul
Roll it off the tounge. rrrrrRRRRRR ROMANCE. and Comedy, that works too, especially in Slice-of Life.
