I'm planning to do a Halloween special for Elsie where Ernest introduces Samhain traditions to Smelton as well as a sideshow with Harry Houdini and Arthur Conan Doyle go on a silly Scooby Doo esque ghost adventure thingy in an abandoned… I want to say theme park but I don’t know if that’s invented yet. Harry doesn’t believe in ghosts and Arthur does so a bunch of whacky stuff happens because of their disagreements. Turns out it’s just Theo pulling a prank on them.

Last year, I did a mini comic with my characters of them playing DnD. I thought of continuing that. It's not canon, so it can be whatever for the giggles. But maybe just like an illustration this year? Because I already have October scheduled as an "overhaul" month for page work. So I think a mini comic is a no-go, even if it's just scribbles like last year.

Speaking of Harry Houdini… and Halloween… he passed away on that day in 1926 so Halloween makes me sad now. WAAAAAAH!

Halloween is also Magic Day in honor of him. So that’s nice.

I'm in the same boat as I'm out of buffer. Kinda debating on spooky episode or illustrations as well. I really wanna do a FNAF inspired thing, but I'm not sure I'd make it in time(maybe next year?). Maybe something simple if things get hectic. I'm sure readers would appreciate whatever we decide as long as we have fun with it.

I feel like Linus on every Halloween night, but instead of waiting for the Great Pumpkin and missing trick or treating, I’m waiting for Harry Houdini and watching Kiki’s Delivery Service and missing Halloween parties and stealing candy from children.

Last year I drew my characters Daecon and Evander dressed up as everybody else's characters (well. not everybody, but there was Zack and Kyara, Henry and Larry, Friar, Elsie and Ernest, and Crystal and Otto). Don't know what I'll do this year but it probably won't be anything so elaborate.

@abigaillmartin the first theme park in England opened in 1843, so legally no one would be allowed to judge you for including one.
I’m probably going to do a little bonus artwork of the two main characters in sailor moon themed halloween costumes, including an only slightly grotesque approximation of what Ea thinks a cat looks like. Technically Halloween is also one of their birthdays, but I don’t want to think about how including a reference to that would work timeline-wise, so I’m just gonna ignore that.. for now.
