What Are Your Comic Goals For 2018?

get around 100 subs, have a small fanbase (aka future friends who enjoy my comic), I also wanna be able to make some animations of my comic when I learn how to, make more theme songs (since I only finished one), and get to a point where my comic will actually be interesting

2018 is going to be my art year as by the end I'm going to applying to Uni! So my goals are mainly comic and sketchbook based:

• Create and maintain a buffer for par·ox·ysm
• Work on creating a website for the above comic and my portfolio (from scratch)
• Upload 4 pages each update and 3 updates per month!
• Improve and develop on backgrounds in the comic world
• Draw the characters consistently (iMPORTANT!!!)
• Promote the comic on other social media more***

- Put Bloodroot Volume 2-4 into print
- Put Volume 1 of Ghost Play into print
- Release 2 new series
- I also wanna create more merch however we'll see what I can afford. Worst case scenario I can only go with redbubble again.
- I kinda wanna raise my total income to $3k a month before taxes so I can save up for stuff like top surgery, and hopefully go to conventions in Sweden 2019. I was gonna go this year but then Webtoons took a dump on us all so I can't afford that :v

My only real goal for 2018 is to create two comics every week for the whole year. Seems do-able, eh?

I also wanna keep playing with new pens and learning how to make my drawing/digitizing/editing process better.

I didn't think about it too much before but I actually have quite a few things on my "hope to do" list for this year -

• Build up a buffer for a new short series and begin releasing it this summer
  - Try to maintain a minimum page rate of 2 per week

• Submit a small side project to StArt Faire

• Increase my penciling and digital inking speed enough to work on a line of side projects throughout the year (Hoping to work on my writing more with this as well)

I can't specify the exact surgery since my tittage is small and floppy enough to pass for gynecomastia, so for all I know the only thing needed could be liposuction of the breast. If not, it's most likely keyhole mastectomy surgery. I haven't gotten evaluated yet since I don't have the money for a surgery yet anyway.

Could've gotten it for free through the state but their psychologists and bullshit evaluation methods were driving me insane to the point I was about to become incapable of working, so I would have lost more both economically and otherwise by going that way.

Uhhh no I have a very androgynous visual expression and don't really care much how my dick looks as long as it works. At least not enough to go under any type of surgery. (Which is one of the many reasons that the state's psychologists were such bitches to me. They saw this as a sign that I wasn't "really transgender" >_>)

I just want a flat chest so I won't have to take hiding the boobage into account when dressing myself and so I can go swimming like any other dude. Sure, I'll have to keep my lower body hidden at all times in the dressing rooms but at least I won't have to be the baritone voiced asshole making women scream and flee from the ladies' changing room ._.

Kind of bummed and a little depressed right now... i have a hard time finishing a 2nd page for my next update and i hardly feel very much energy and desire to draw right now... I hope it will get better, aaaaaaaaaah... I think i'm taking the counter blow or timed / late psychological hit about personnal things and i feel deeply discouraged x)

It can only go up from there ! FORCING POSITIVITY !!! (sometimes it hurt even more trying to smile when it's hard for you) xD

But my goals for 2018... Making some good fights... developping the background of Draan and explaining in depth what happenned in the house at the beginning, documenting myself more and drawing some cool designs for monsters, dark entities, armors and stuff, yeah...

But by the end of the year i wish i can close one or two arcs of the primary / little and advanced
childhood of Draan
