What are Your favourite tools for creating Novels/Comics?

just simple question, what are Your favourite tools for creating Novels/Comics?

About my tools, I use Krita and LibreOffice Draw for Comics, and for Novels I use LibreOffice Writer with few extensions to autocomplete words, and multi-lang in one document, with diff.

I would like to know Your tools.

I use word and Pro Writing aid for drafting my stories. I also have a book called Self Editing for Fiction Authors that I keep going back to when I'm trying to clean up my work.

I use Word for writing, but I also keep a notebook for when I can't access my computer for whatever reason.
For drawings, I use a mix of pencils, pens, papers, markers, Procreate and Photoshop. Pencils for the sketch, pens and/or Procreate for the lineart, markers for coloring and Photoshop to add the final details ^_^

Huge fan of Google docs after my computer crashed and I lost a story draft due to not writing it in that So I use Google Docs now for writing, and Clip Studio Paint EX for art, and Blender for scene setup.

Google Docs - Basically where I live. It's easy to share work and my critique partners can leave notes. It also auto-saves which is nice all of its own.

Grammarly - Cause I will always goof the grammar and I probably won't catch them all myself lol

and I'm playing around with Campfire to see how I like it. I'll probably use it to plan out my trad pub novel.

I just excessively use Word documents: I have a minimum of two for every story: one is the actual story and the other is an up-to-date and up to the story outline: characters, locations, systems like for magic, currency or technology, plot points and significant events.

they have a generator for everything and anything, I'll find a generator that fits best for what I need and just base what I use on what the generator gives me.

I use Clip Studio Paint for my comic. I love it. I just use Google Docs for my scripts and story outlines.

for writing unironically notepad on windows. i can write a little more freely without a bunch of red and green lines staring me down and killing my flow. i plug things into word later for spell check but notepad's my go to.

for drawing medibang will always be my number one
in all honesty though its my favorite not only for ease of use but a lot of the custom brushes I've made as well as cloud brushes I've found. Firealpaca is a close second but mainly for basic gifs. One day though it might be CSP but for now I'm happy with my lil free softwares

MediBang and Corel Painter Essentials 6 are my favorite tools for creating art (or in this case, comics).

My Wacom Intuos came with Corel Painter Essentials 6 instead of Clip Studio Paint, so I had no choice but to find a free software that has good brushes for line art (this is where MediBang comes into place). Corel Painter Essentials 6 doesn't have the right brushes that I need for my line art style. I only use it for flat colors, shading, textures, and painting.

I use Scrivener. It's really helpful for me in organizing my drafts, as well as any character references and anything else while I'm writing or revising.

Another one for Google Docs! It's so nice to be able to work on my scripts no matter what device I'm on at the moment, and I can jot down notes right from my phone if I have a brilliant idea right as I'm falling asleep. And I love being able to share the document with my friends who proofread it for me, and they can put notes right in the document that everyone can see and respond to.

For art, I use a mish-mash of Clip Studio and Photoshop, depending on what tools I need to use and how I've got my art set up. And of course my trusty Huion drawing tablet!

I also enjoy croppy for cropping

Clip Studio Paint for illustrations. I formerly used word, but just got Scrivener for novels.

For my comic i draw traditionally, i love my trusty pigment-ink fineliners and a special tip fineline marker for drawing organic background stuff. If it's digitally, I like to do most processes in Photoshop (minus the re-lining and coloring flats). I'm really old school.

My favorite tools are micron pens, illustrator, and Grammarly with google docs. I prefer a balance between digital and traditional.
