What are your goals for your story? (Novels and Comics)

@caelinalexis That's awesome how you're trying to do something different in romance from the standard fairytale tropes. I've always loved adding in romance to my stories, although their main genre would be mystery. That's a really nice goal too! Possibly a spoiler there with killing off one of your main interests.

@VibrantFox Those are so great goals. Really interesting about the small animations too, which I think would be really cool. I also love the audio drama one too. It would be really cool to hear your own characters through someone else narrating them.

@Azifri Nice goals you got! I feel like maybe mine could be similar, although I write novels instead of comics. Just want to feel proud of what I've completed and have it polished up to the best of my abilities.

@Eiranyx Lovely goals you've got for your series. It's awesome how you're trying to break stereotypes within that genre, as I know it doesn't always get a lot of love. I can see how subscribers goals can keep you grounded too. Care to share what yours are? 50? 100? 500? Etc... It might give me an idea of what to strive for.

Well, I don't know what my goal would be... I believe it would be reaching as many people as I can, travelling far and wide. I hope my works serve as an inspiration to those who want to tell their own stories I believe ^^

My goal for Red Dragon is to make it into a web-comic and gain an audience that enjoys my characters as much as I do. I want my story to be even just a bit inspiring to people who see my characters struggle, and maybe see a bit of themselves in them too.

I also want it to help generate income for me. I don't expect tons of cash or anything, but I would like to sell prints and other merch as well as open a patreon at some point if it gets enough traction.

But at the very least, I just want to finish it ^_^

I can't help but agree with you, that's exactly how I feel about it. I can't wait to see my comic on a shelf, because it would mean it is finally something concrete and not just an abstraction of my mind.

My goals are to get the artwork out and may publish traditionally once there is a large enough fan base. I had to start from scratch since the old artist ghosted me. The series is done script wise, but the art is just getting started. I lost a lot of subs and likes when I had the hiatus and deleting of the old art. It comes out on Saturdays now. Going to try to keep up the momentum. If you want to check it out here's the link. I am still working on re-releasing the translations. Please bare with me as I fix everything.

Yes, I know because that genre are often associated with the words 'raw' 'violent' and 'sexual' I want to change it in a way that if I have to describe it, something like 'a light of the end of the tunnel' That sometimes, things may start from something dark but it turned out that it was something light or as the story progress, it becomes lighter or more 'heart-felt' in a way. ^^

Just post 'em and hope for rain, pretty much. Especially subscribers. What really matters to me is that people end up reading it to the end.

Long term?
Formally publish. Make bank. More specifically, make enough bank so I can just collapse for a week or two and rest after I'm done publishing my first book. And above all else, produce quality work. I'm realizing that a lot of my earlier work is not quite up to task, but I'm just focusing on getting things done with my prequels before returning to Urban Wolf.

A couple of goals, really.
1- Finish the thing because a) as mostly stated, finish the thing in itself its a commendable goal, and b) I want to get better at drawing, panneling, script, etc. I can only doing that thing by practicing and I am doing it by making my first webcomic~

2-Reach at the most quantity of people possible. Because I want to know opinions of people! I still have not accomplisshed a lot of subs or views. I am still unknown, so I don't see it as a problem, but as a growth in time thing, but when I have enough interaction and maybe the whole thing complete, I will have to make the question to viewers and non viewers -What is good and not good from the story? I can have what I learned from myself while doing the thing (point 1) but I really need the 'out of the box' point of view. I don't need it like right now because the series is still going, and I am still growing in a lot of things. Maybe some things that are a concern in chapter 2, are not in chapter 12, so I think that this point will only be accesible when everything its said and done.
