I'm pagan. I could go into further detail of what I believe in my pagan path, but it's really confusing and makes me sound insane XD XD

98% of my family is Christian, but it simply wasn't for me, I was too busy sneaking out of church to play in the woods as a lil yumper. My dad noticed the signs and knew I would be attracted to paganism so he didn't try to stop me. My grandfather taught me some basic stuff of the craft when I was in middle school but stopped when my mother found out, and she was not happy lol XD

I don't have any issues with other religions, and I respect other religious branches :') There used to be a lot of hate in my heart for reasons I won't go into detail, because I love how civil we're all being on this topic, but I got over my hate and now it's a deep respect for other religions :') If there's a religion I don't know much about, I'll do my research and sate my curiosity before anything. If I meet someone who's a different religion than mine, I'll ask them questions as to not accidentally offend them, show interest on their perspective since we all come from different walks of life, and continue the friendship :')

@Wolven_Sister When you say "pagan", what does that entail? As an amateur history-nut, for me, "pagan" ranges from the vikings' worship of Odin and Thor all the way though to pre-Islamic polytheist desert religions and modern Wiccans; it's kind of a broad range of possibilities.

Yeah, what are Wiccans anyway? I heard they're into spiritualism/mysticism, but I'm not entirely sure.

@Agentzap, I'm glad too see a muslim here. I thought they were just hiding for some reason... But at least you appeared wink

I also thought the majority of replies are going to be Christians and Muslims lol.

You're right AnnaLandin! Pagan is an umbrella term for numerous branches and even in those bramches, there are a ton of beliefs and interpretations. I can tell you my personal outlook on my pagan path, but it's different for everyone so no answer is really going to be the same. So, please don't take my answer as the official statement of all pagans because it really differs from one person to the next :')

For me, I tend to follow close to the Celtic path and I also believe in energetic pulses that every living thing has, from the tree & stones, to the average human, to even space itself. I believe in evolution and a lot of scientific facts, but I also believe that every living thing is connected and embrace the natural dark and the natural light in our world, and in ourselves, sometimes using both depending on the situation. I do call the energy of old gods depending on what ritual needs them, and I do believe in the Horned God but I call him by his many names and I do believe in the Goddess, I embrace them equally. However I don't put human faces on them and view them in their many aspects. Some pagans/wiccans humanize their gods and this is totally fine and I respect them for that :')

(I hope I didn't offend anyone, it was not my intention <3 )

There are three things that I don't talk with other people....

RELIGION,
POLITICS,

and the GREAT PUMPKIN!

Shhh! Theres supposed tah be a secret handshake for that. (looks around to see if the coast is clear)

I'm Jonathan. I'm Mormon. The oddball that is here when you need him. Went on my mission to Torreon, Mexico. I may be religious but I would never force it on another, though I might express it when I feel it's right, and would neither put it in my comics or put something weird in them unless it was to get a desired result such as a person laughing at my weirdness in comics. Nice to meet ya'll.

Returned missionary eh? I'm about a year away before I hand in my papers. How was it down in Mexico?

So, in a sense, you believe in the Yin and Yang principle?

I suppose so, if you had to put a label to it. There's more to it, in my perspective, but I won't go into it lmao XD

Hello,

I´m a Christian Protestant.

I created a Christian manga, named Salvation5 about a group of Christians that uses the whole armor of God (Ephesians). I wanna create a manga about Bible, but something cool and talks about gospel! If you have time read it please!

I'm somewhere in-between agnostic and atheist (not sure if that makes sense lol), but I am also a very spiritual person. I'm a very open person though, so sometimes I go to church with my friends. But I cant lie, there were a couple times I fell asleep xD

Don't worry-- even the faithful nod off on occasion (just because we're church-goers doesn't mean we think sermons are fun)! I think it's cool of you to attend church with your friends even though you don't necessarily believe in what's being talked about. I suppose you go more to support or hang out with your friends, huh?
Either way, I think it's important to not be afraid or disdainful of other people's beliefs. I'd be more than happy to attend the worship service of someone of a religion very different than my own. Nor would I mistreat something someone else considered sacred.

Yes, I do go to hang out with my friends, but not only that, I've noticed that if you really open up your ears, some of the teachings can be very insightful. I don't believe in everything being told, rather, I just take in little things that I find meaningful and useful for my life.

Even though I don't believe in God, I do believe everyone should strive to become the best person they can be.

I don't know exactly what to call myself.
I believe in the paranormal, I believe in magic, I believe in an afterlife, I believe in a god, (though I sometimes make it seem like I believe in more than one) am okay with drawing demons, and believe everything has a soul, and that everything I make has a bit of myself in it, and I also believe that everything is connected in some ways.

I was born in a family where my parent (parent, because I've only ever known my mom, since my dad died when I was 10 months old) simply didn't care about what I chose to believe.

Yeah, I agree. I really think people can learn a lot of good things, even from those they don't necessarily agree with. People should listen to others, learn what meaningful lessons they can, accept what they agree with, and be civil in matters of what they do not agree with. And trying to be good, whatever their belief.
I think that is more important than what religion or belief system they follow.

Nobody knows if there is a god or not. you just believe in it. Its like a closed box and a guy says "there is an apple". You can believe him or deny him or tell "I can't know since it's closed". Religions are just varieties of apples. Agnosticism is being not sure and ateism is denying.
